Eventbrite is shady. I know it's standard to charge multiple service fees (which is still a scam in my opinion), but Eventbrite only lets you buy one ticket at a time (at least that was the case for Absolution Fest) and so they can charge the service fees per each ticket rather than each transaction. Furthermore, when I went to do the 2nd transaction to get a tic for my partner, they were then sold out! Because I couldn't buy 2 tics at once. Now only one of us is going.
