Eventbrite is shady. I know it's standard to charge multiple service fees (which is still a scam in my opinion), but Eventbrite only lets you buy one ticket at a time (at least that was the case for Absolution Fest) and so they can charge the service fees per each ticket rather than each transaction. Furthermore, when I went to do the 2nd transaction to get a tic for my partner, they were then sold out! Because I couldn't buy 2 tics at once. Now only one of us is going.

I bought a 5.3 handset and had problems straight out of the box. Every action was really slow, unlocking it would often cause the phone to freeze for several seconds and answering calls would cause the 'system UI' to completely crash requiring a reboot (causing me to miss a telephone doctors appointment).This was frustrating but their customer service/aftercare is just ridiculous. I tried to contact them using the email function on their website but received an error message that told me to contact them by chat. I contacted them by chat and the handset crashed mid-conversation. I contacted them by chat again and was told to email their Support Team directly. I emailed them, and they told me to contact them by chat again! Only after I voiced my frustration did a member of 'Support' agree to help. The first collection they arranged never arrived. After arranging the second collection, they told me I'd receive a notification of the expected time. I left my phone on to receive this but the collection company (DHL) arrived without warning and my phone wasn't ready. After performing all the actions in their email (performing factory reset, packaging the item/s, and having my laptop ready to have the driver complete a 'receipt' they require me to have done for some reason) the driver had left. I contacted them again and they informed me that DHL would attempt delivery again within 2 weeks (without giving me a date) and said that if I missed another collection it would be my responsibility to pay for it. If you have to buy a Nokia do not buy it directly from them.

I had ordered alot of items from bol.com in the past and when I came back to the Netherlands, I used bol.com to get some more. This time around, I ordered 4 stuffs at once. They sent 2 via postnl which did not deliver to my home rather made me go to the pickup point to pick it up. Other 2 items were heavier and were posted via DHL. Without any call or notification, DHL tracking said my items were delivered but they weren't. Then I called the customer service, they asked mw to wait for a day. Still nothing came. I called the customer service again, and they said my items will be delivered tomorrow. Still nothing tomorrow. I called again, and they said its lost so they will reorder one of my item which is sold by bol.com again and will inquire about the other. Next day, DHL delivered both of the items at once and few hours later even after informing them, one item got delivered again. Now bol.com wants me to drop it at a postnl pickup point to return but the stuff is really heavy and I dont have a car. And its not my mistake as they reordered it, they lost my order and the postnl delivery person left it in my building's lobby without even a notification call.

When we arrived at our hotel the hotel had no record of our booking. Luckily I had the confirmation and they had a spare room for us. This had a knock on effect with breakfast as this wasn’t recorded either. Thankfully the hotel staff were happy to ring and work this out whilst we left luggage and continued with our weekend. I am concerned about my other booking I have as I can see many other people have had this experience.
