After taking a 5am flight and waiting over 40 minutes in line with only one employee working, we were exhausted and just wanted to get our car and go. We explicitly declined the insurance waiver, but the employee sneakily added it anyway. Despite clearly saying NO, they charged us for it. This is not only dishonest—it’s predatory, especially when customers are tired and being rushed through the process.This is the second time this has happened when booking through Expedia. It’s becoming clear this may be a deliberate tactic. We’ll be disputing the charge, but others should be warned: check your receipt carefully before you leave, even if you’re exhausted.Shame on Fox for exploiting travelers like this. We expected better from both Fox and Expedia who refused to refund the extra fees.
