Response: I do appreciate the reply. I still have only received a partial refund from Flexjobs and the other part of the refund I received was from my bank because I had to file a fraud dispute and they found it a fraudulent purchase. Secondly, after I wrote my original grievance I realized that they had also charged me the month prior. No notice and no confirmation of payment. So yes, I may have missed the original email but they do not send any correspondence after that initial email (that I missed). Oh, and my bank will not cover the original full charge because I missed it. They only refunded the last one because their “prorated” amount was so fraudulent after I had cancelled my account they couldn’t believe it. (End of update)I did not find the site to be helpful. I did not read the fine print (my fault) and I did not realize that they would be charging me $23.95 monthly for a subscription that I was not using. They do not send any notice that they will charge you or that they did charge - which feels like a scam. When I asked to be refunded after renewing for 1 day - they “prorated” my refund and refunded me around $11. Unsure what math they used for that prorated amount. Now, I need to submit a fraud report because I realized they have charged my account multiple times. Extremely frustrating and I have not used the site at all. It should be a red flag when a company says they are going to charge a small fee to view the site. Then they send ONE email (that I missed) stating you are now in a subscription. Beware when signing up to view the jobs. It ends up being much more expensive.
