I bought recently a refrigerator as a gift for my sister. Regrettably, the delivery boys told her not worry about the minor dent and that the brand would take care. However, when Samsung technician came for installation, he reported that the product would not work as the senor unit was not functioning and even if repaired it would not function well. I came for a 1-week break from my overseas posting and spent 4 days following up with Flipcart and Samsung to take the product back as it was a brand new product which was not functioning. Both blamed each other and no action even after 14 days! I wrote to Grievance Officer Flipcard, who did not even care to respond my repeated email communications. After many mails and calls, we were informed that Flipcart could not do anything else!Samsung has not sent a technician yet! I lost Rs 30,000 and invaluable time and peace of mind! I have already deactivated my flipcart account and sadly it is not allowing me to delete the account! Very disappointed, disillusioned with such an international company. I am exploring legal options and hopefully approach consumer court once I return to India as I have a job denial card from Samsung stating it was the online supplier's responsibility to return the product!
