I signed on with FreshBooks at the request of a client who used the service in their consultancy. I needed to track hours worked for a variety of projects and found it easy to keep the time clock up and switch between projects throughout the day. At the end of the month FreshBooks aggregates my hours into an invoice that I designed within the program and emails the invoice to my client. Emails keep me apprised of when it is sent, viewed, approved for payment and lets me know when payment has been routed to my account. It is worth the monthly fee to have a happy client and transparency into the process.
