I had booked a day tour to go to Sevan in Armenia and the trip had been booked several months before. I heard from the tour operator BFT Group the day before the trip that the tour had been cancelled. I subsequently heard from Get Your Guide who were asking me why I had cancelled the trip. Understandably I hit the roof as I was really looking forward to the trip. I confronted BFT who admitted that they had cancelled the trip. I demanded compensation for my inconvenience and the General Manager Makuna mutually agreed a sum of £40 as compensation. The payment was never made and I was beginning to regret entrusting my Bank details to a company that had been proven to be dishonest. Soso the CEO of the company subsequently contacted me and would agree to send me the money providing that I withdrew my 1 star review on Get Your Guide in advance of receiving the payment as I didn't trust him either I was reluctant to do this. In the subsequent exchange he was very offensive and emotional.
