I have ordered from Ikea twice and both times had major issues. I don't even know where to begin. The most recent issue is I ordered 6 of the Lack shelves. They shipped them with absolutely no protection in a box. So 5 out of 6 of them arrived with damage from shipping which is to be expected with no shipping protection, not sure why Ikea can't forsee this happening when they use no packaging materials. The other issue is even worse. I ordered 2 cabinets and a counter top. They marked all items as shipped and the truck shows up with two cabinets and no counter top. I had to go without the counter top I ordered for weeks until they shipped it out when it became available. It was apparently out of stock, but despite that they told me it was in stock, took my money, and lied to me that it had been shipped. Weeks go by and I get another shipping notice for the counter top and so I prep the room and get everything ready. A truck shows up with NOTHING IN IT. They actually drove all the way to my house with out the counter top! I don't know how you can be so incompetent. I ended up getting a refund for the counter top 3 months after purchase because they could never fulfil the order. So now I have two cabinets with no matching counter top thanks to the completely incompetent people at Ikea.
