I’ve been locked out of my Instagram account since March 18 after what appears to be an automated restriction. I immediately submitted an appeal as instructed, and ever since, the only response I get is that my appeal is “in process.” It’s now been over three months, and I haven’t received a single update or communication from Instagram.What’s most frustrating is that there is no way to speak to a human being—no email, no chat, no follow-up. Their support system is a dead end, and users are left in the dark with no recourse, even when they’ve followed all procedures.Instagram/Meta clearly does not care about users unless they’re paying for ads or Meta Verified. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and has shown how little regard they have for everyday users’ data, time, or access.Absolutely unacceptable. If you’re thinking about building anything meaningful on this platform, beware—you can lose access overnight with zero support.
