I used Jimdo for one of my businesses. When that business ceased to exist I didn’t need the website anymore. Upon renewal in 2018 I received an email saying that I had to pay for the upcoming year or they would shut down my website, so I let them shut it down. 4 years later I get contacted by a debt collection company claiming I owe Jimdo money. The pandemic has been hard on all of us, but that’s proper scum behaviour! My website was taken down on the day when the contract ran out.
