online Xmas order

My husband opened a new Macy’s card so he couldPurchase a Xmas present which was on sale. It took us an initial 30 min. A few days later we called back because of not receiving a confirmation email. They could not find order nor could she find his new account. After spending almost a combined hour on phone w incompetent customer service we now have no Xmas present. The person offered to place order again but we declined as it will not be here for Xmas and it’s double the price again. This was a one off type of present so it’s very disappointing.
