Don't take out a subscription. McAfee will follow you to your grave. About 8 years ago we made the mistake of buying one 12 months virus protection. We weren't impressed with the product and cancelled. Despite not renewing the subscription AND cancelling it several times they are still charging even though they can't actually locate an account in either of our names. We've cancelled our Visa cards and still the unauthorised charges continue.
