Be careful! Mercari advertises that all transactions are guaranteed but they do not back this up. I sold a package on here and UPS lost the item. Mercari did nothing to help me, they could not even get the tracking number correct. All responses from them are automated and say the same thing regardless of the problem. They did nothing to research or track the item, they even continue to send people the wrong tracking number even though I have informed them several times. In the end they cancelled the transaction ( not the buyer) and refuse to reimburse my money or even assist with filing a claim. You cannot file a claim without Mercari but then they refuse to help you. Everything is great as long as they make money off you but when there is a problem, they do NOT do what they advertise. They DO NOT guarantee or honor what they say. Poshmark is a much better choice. I have been with them for 10 years and never a problem.
