Review of eventbrite
I was looking at two New Years eve party events (Maggiano's 2025 NYE celebration and the Venation hotel celebration, both in Santana Row, San Jose, CA). I called both places directly to see if these were legit and both confirmed that these were not legit and they did not know anything about such event that were advertised and sold by Eventbrite. The Venation hotel celebration is only available for their guest and not general public and reserved through their website only and Maggiano's has not even decided if they will have NYE celebration yet.

Booking.com are great until you want to make a complaint.My Son booked an apartment through booking com (Studio Apartment, near city centre, Salford), the reviews/photos looked good on their website. On arrival it wasa completely different story. There was urine in the lift, a heavy smell of drugs and the door to the apartment was unlocked. Inside, the room had clearly not been prepared/cleaned. I raised a complaint at the end of April, chased numerous times (via email) but got no response. I ended up having to call them 5 times to be told that the owner of the property had advised that my son had made the mess in the room! He literally spent 5 minutes in the room to take photos as evidence and then messaged the owner who completely ignored him.Booking.com have taken his word for it and closed the case! The fact that this property no longer appears on the website speaks volumes. My son lost £191 and they really don't care. Please book with caution and make sure you research accommodation yourself before booking - do not trust their reviews.

I've had similarly terrible experience with Amazon in other countries, too. The customer service is just a bot that doesn't let you talk to a human. My package was left outside in rain, and I found it covered in slugs hours later. There wasn't even a text or phone call to advise about exact delivery time, and I can't get to talk to a human (because Amazon would rather squeeze all profits and employ fewer people, despite its pitiable pay).

Leaving this review to make it known that Amazon allows fake branded products and deletes the reviews when you say so. I ordered two beauty products from Amazon, firstly a La Roche Posay sunscreen and secondly a Bondi Sands tanning lotion. The La Roche Posay arrived and I instantly knew it was not the correct liquid as I have been using it for 10 years. The smell, consistency, colour were all totally different. I left a review on Amazon and requested a return and my review was deleted and no support from customer services. Same thing happened with the Bondi Sands product. I provided photos of the real vs fake product side by side and on the skin but my review was deleted twice. It is illegal to allow the sale of fake branded products but Amazon is allowing this.

It is basically unusable and when I see a mirror article come up now I just ignore it as it will be virtually unreadable because of ads. If I could leave no stars I would. Along with many others funded a tech called slidenjoy, now called portabl. That was 7 years ago. No products have materialised. The developers keep messaging saying tech has been sent out, but noone has received anything. Charlatans.Once the first date for delivery slipped by many of us requested our money back. Kickstarter offered zero help. They say they check where tech is to reduce tge risk of not getting it, but seriously they allow theft. Whilst I have previously had some joy on this platform, I no longer support new tech this was based on my experience with slidenjoy. I wait until its commercial. I recommend you do too.It would be far better for backers to have the money in an escrow so if these things happen they get some if not all of their money back, but NO. Kickstarter hands the money straight to the tech developer.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This website looked fun and creative. I wanted to design business cards for my son. I made a purchase and even upgraded to include AI, since it was only $7 more...I tried to use the site for a few hours and couldn't get anything done with the 4 images that I downloaded. I decided that maybe this was a little out of my league and attempted to cancel. When I went into settings to cancel I received a reply to contact customer service, which wasn't open on Sunday, so I called on Monday. The customer service representative seemed friendly enough and advised that he could help me with a cancellation after I paid for the annual subscription of $159.00! After I picked myself up off the floor and asked why I would be charged for an entire package, I was advised that's their policy. There are no refunds and no trial period. I did send an email for finance review and was allowed to cancel after paying an additional $39.00, total mistake $46.00. Just awful. Please read the fine print before making a purchase on this platform. I will be more careful when I'm attempting to do something out of my comfort zone and using a new provider.

This place should be shut down. I've been using crypto.com for a few month now and I don't think there is one grown adult that works there. The customer service is probably a bunch of 11 year old kids that don't even communicate with each other. I've had nothing but problems with them from day one. Every other withdrawal there takes between 3 and 8 hours to be processed. And when you talk to support they lie and say it's on the block chain and out of their hands. Which can't be true because it's not even processed yet dummies. When I say cancel my request then you should be a good platform and cancel my damn request. You haven't processed it yet so I still own the coin. Damn you guys are retarded. I can't believe one thing you guys say. Not even when you say hello. I think your lying about that too. Please ppl if you read this take my advise and don't use this stupid scam site. It's not worth your time or money to even try and deal with these kids.
