Not holiday

Sadly, I have to strongly advise against staying in the West Wing, Trerice, Kestle Mill. My partner and I took what we hoped would be a relaxing short break there but soon afterwards, after booking two further stays there, were sent two demands for an extra payment of £100. This is what will happen if you dare to use the facilities and equipment provided as you are expected to leave the property as you found it with no work at all for the 'cleaner' to do. We are both very experienced within the cleaning sector and the condition we left the accommodation in would be accepted as part of a typical shift for us. We left no damage and did not remove anything. No silver foil is provided for the oven but there is a cook book to entrap you into using the kitchen equipment. The dictionary definition of a holiday is a break from work. Having to do what the cleaner is supposed to (Presumably part of the cost of the stay is supposed to cover this) is not. Because this cannot be described as a holiday we decided to cancel the two further breaks we had planned for a full refund. I do not call being given a full refund compensation for the stress of being sent two demands for £100 one on a Sunday the second 8am on Monday morning, along with a letter demanding our assurance that we would not leave anything for the cleaner to do on our next two visits. Which only stopped because it was pointed out to the NT as I have put before they were contravening the trades descriptions act by calling their accommodation a 'holiday'.Foot note:If you expect the 'holiday' accommodation to be left in the condition it is found in you are breaking the law regarding The Trades Description Act by calling your accommodation 'holidays'. By the dictionary the definition of the word holiday is a break from work that includes not having to do the cleaners work. Going for a holiday with the NT is like going out for an expensive meal and expecting to have to do the washing up.
