Google nest customer service

Recently had a new network password. Went to change the passwords on the nest thermostats x 2 and 1 works fine the other refuses to recognise the internet. Everything works fine doorbell, cctv, WiFi etc but nest have told me to contact my provider as my router needs to change a code access. The 3rd advisor was rude and totally un helpful.
