I paid $1119.36 for a Royal Caribbean cruise on 11/01 but canceled it the same day, expecting a full refund. However, on 11/06, they only refunded the tax amount of $275.36. Despite contacting their customer service multiple times, they asked me to wait 14 more days for the full refund, as it would come in two separate payments. After waiting and following up, I received the remaining amount of $844 after 34 days. In short, while it was quick to make the payment for the cruise, getting the refund proved to be a challenging process.
