Review of booking

Completely let down! Never again!

I received email confirmation of my booking through booking.com on 14/05/25. I had booked a one night stay at The Old Rectory, Campsea Ashe on 28/06/25. I received my next email notification from Booking.com on 24/06/25 telling me that my payment was due the next day. The next email I received from Booking.com was at 8:31am on Sat 28th June telling me that I had a message from The Old Rectory. This message said that they were looking forward to welcoming me and to please send them my arrival time. When I arrived at The Old Rectory late afternoon, there was no one there to meet me. The only person there was a lady who was helping set up for breakfast. I explained that I had booked for this evening and she gave me a number for two people to contact. I called both numbers and the response I got was that they knew nothing about my booking and they told me that they were fully booked for that evening. One of the women told me that it was the fault of Booking.com and that they had over booked. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement. I hadn't had a break in over 7 years and I was so looking forward to it. I felt completely let down and didn't feel that I wanted to stay and find alternative accommodation so I just headed back home. I will never use Booking.com again!

No stars if I could.

No stars if I could.I had to reset my laptop to factory settings as something went wrong with it, so had to buy some anti virus software.I searched for the best anti virus software and Mcafee came top in most of them. I can only assume that all of reviews are being paid for by Mcafee.I wish I had come here first before buying this rubbish.I have paid for a 2 year subscription idiot me, It stops me accessing emails, Ladbrokes and other none malicious websites.Try and open your account to cancel, it will not let you, it is a total scam, you end up in a loop designed that way so you get no where, never again will I buy from a US software company again as I also got ripped off with Norton.Please do not give them your hard earned money as you will regret it, as many others here have stated you will regret it

Cheap Products

Bought a pair of jeans that had those stupid elastic lines after two washings. Brought to store they could not do a return ( I did not have receipt) but agreed the jeans were a mess. Suggested I call Customer Svc, what a waste of time....since I am not a loyalty member they had no options available. These are lower quality than Walmart jeans...never again shopping at Abercrombie. Poor quality.

Unjustified use of my credit card on Uber Brazil for a low amount (5,19 euros) - I immediately notified both Uber who said they couldn’t find the transaction and Cryptocom. The reaction of the latest even with a vip account was to say I had used Uber Brazil before (8 months ago) and thus propose to either keep the card and never question a transaction (!?) or pay 50 euros for a new card. Very unpleasant as if they would indicate you wish to rip them off 5,19 euros…

I have had such an unpleasant experience with you. Was promised delivery within 10 days. More than 10 days ago.Then told, and only then, dress is on back order. So you lied when I ordered the dress!E-mailed you with the problem, only to recieved standard e-mail reply requiring me to again do your work for you, spend my time on navigating your website, finding out how to contact a human. Whereupon a human could not be contacted and a bot could not help AND the chat function did not allow my messages be sent to the bot. This malfunction occured every time I tried to chat with URBAN OUTFITTERS. My mails where not being replied, other than by a bot sitting URBAN OUTFITTERS had registered my mail.So I feel that there have been lies about product availability, delivery time and an utterly nonfunctioning customer service and nonfunctioning contact.Oh, and creating an account was required, they wrote, to track a delivery, but my purchase was not registered, so tracking was not possible. Nothing to seems to work in any area of customer service. Perhaps a whole new set of supervisors and bosses is needed.

Review of royalcaribbean

getting the refund proved to be a challenging process.

I paid $1119.36 for a Royal Caribbean cruise on 11/01 but canceled it the same day, expecting a full refund. However, on 11/06, they only refunded the tax amount of $275.36. Despite contacting their customer service multiple times, they asked me to wait 14 more days for the full refund, as it would come in two separate payments. After waiting and following up, I received the remaining amount of $844 after 34 days. In short, while it was quick to make the payment for the cruise, getting the refund proved to be a challenging process.

Disappointed beyond words with Royal Caribean

This was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime celebration — my very first cruise, planned to celebrate being reunited with my 13 year old daughter after being separated for three long years due to my critical illness. I wanted everything to be perfect.When I called Cruises.com to book the cruise, I clearly explained that it was my first time and that this trip was deeply meaningful to us. I paid for the cruise upfront, excited and hopeful. But the very next day, I realized I had chosen the wrong port: I booked the cruise leaving from Fort Lauderdale instead of Miami. The Miami departure was important to me because it includes two days on land, not just one, and that extra time mattered.I called Cruises.com immediately the next day to exchange my booking for the Miami port cruise. I was shocked when they told me it was impossible and that doing so would be considered a cancellation. I wasn’t trying to cancel — I just wanted to change ports! Same dates, same cruise line, just a different port.Cruises.com kept telling me it was Royal Caribbean’s policy to call them directly. But when I called Royal Caribbean, they said there was nothing they could do because I had purchased through Cruises.com. It’s been a constant back and forth with no resolution, just repeated "no’s."My daughter and I were so excited to celebrate our reunion, but now we’re going because we can’t afford to lose the money we paid. Of course, we will have fun once on the cruise, but it’s just not the cruise we wanted or envisioned.What hurts the most is that neither Cruises.com nor Royal Caribbean showed any willingness to help or make an exception for a customer’s dream and a deeply personal milestone. If they truly cared, they could have made it right. Instead, I’m left feeling ignored and disappointed.
