Shopify goes down hill in support

We started with Shopify three years ago and thought it was the best. But, they are cutting back on their merchant support. They have gone from having very good phone support to now only chat and bot help. It is ridiculous. As merchants we need efficient help with Shopify issues that come up and they do. The chat is terrible. As merchants we need to be able to help our customers and we need answers to issues affecting the Shopify platform. Now you have to go through a myriad of questions with the stupid bot to then have to wait for chat person to come on all the while trying to conduct business. While doing that you get booted off chat. It is TERRIBLE. Shopify now only offers good, phone support if you are on Shopify Plus which is $2k a month! If we could easily get off Shopify we would. They have gotten too big for their britches. It is so frustrating. Really resent how they are scaling back and trying to make chat seems "oh so" good when it is really a stupid AI bot that is useless and a waste of time for merchants who need help in a timely manner. It was so much better and much more efficient with phone support. Even if they offered phone support after dealing with chat would be useful. There are issues that come up on the platform that are much better handled with phone interaction. We have lost so much time and energy now that they have scaled back on their customer service, which used to be so good. Sorely disappointed with Shopify.
