Definitely my worst experience with the PlayStation. I've owned everyone from day 1. But the PlayStation 5 has been a really poor experience. I had issues from a couple of days in. Games crashing, disc read errors. I lived with these for a few months. But had enough when unrecognised disc error became more frequent. So I phoned Sony PlayStation support to sort it out. What a nightmare it became from their. You have to print labels and post yourself. With no guarantee the parcel will arrive safely. Then after about a week your get an email saying console still hasn't arrived About a further 2 weeks without anything. You get email saying console is on its way back. Received my PS5 with note saying no fault found. So updated and added everything back on to my console. What a surprise within days the fault was still there. So went through the whole nightmare process yet again. Got it back for the second time. But this time Sony UK seems to feel its fine to send you back a different refurbished PS5. Plus it had problems with the rest mode, putting its self back into rest mode. By now I'm fuming, can't be bothered to reset. Then reinstall everything, then phone Sony again to send back. Now I have been beaten, and just really frustrated and annoyed. By the whole crappie process, so I phoned to complain. Sony offered me a month PS+. Which I think is well below acceptable. So I've now sold my PS5 after factory resetting it. Because it left me deflated and completely let down with the whole process. Over 25 years of ownership of a PlayStation gone in a matter of months. and definitely will think twice about buying another PlayStation. Cheers Sony PlayStation UK for ruining my whole PlayStation experience
