Ethically Questionable Design & Poor Support

1. Dark Patterns used to get students to become "Teachable" customers are prioritized over student purchasing your branded course.2. Dark Patterns that are used for "Link by Stripe" on the checkout page can't be opted out of (as a School Owner in settings.). This again makes the checkout page even more complex.3. After checkout, most students will have inadvertently signed up for 3 services: your course, Teachable customer and Link by Stripe.4. If your students has a billing issue, the prompt on your checkout page, sends them to teachable support page. The support page is catered to instructors, so it's too confusing to students seeking help. Their (Teachable) support response is to contact the school. When you (as Instructor/School Owner) report the issue to Teachable support, they want you to have the student contact them. (Circle of confusion.)5. Response time for customer (Instructor/School Owner) issues is poor - if your site has issues, it will take days, if not weeks to resolve.
