As much as I would love to love Venmo, I cannot. My phone number changed over a year ago but Venmo would not accept the new phone number that I use. My current phone number is fine for my bank accounts, for my investing accounts, credit card accounts and very many accounts. But Venmo does not accept it and after trying to log in with other info, such as my bank info, I just keep getting errors and try again later messages. I always have to email for help and days later I receive a response. Then they want you to send a picture of your Drivers License or ID through email. I do not like that at all and who would ? Let the CEO email all of their identifying information in a email. So I would be VERY AFRAID to put a large sum of money into the Venmo account, afraid I might not be able to sign in when needing it. Then after a year of this problem, I asked someone to let me use their phone number so I can get the code that is needed to sign in. So in order for me to sign in, I have to use someone elses phone number, which puts me in a greater security risk. If Venmo would allow me to use my personal phone number, like everyone else does, then it would be fine. I have to keep fighting the Venmo system in order to log in. There are many others having this issue, but their management does not listen and does not change things. New management is needed for Venmo.
