Terrible

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Impossible to get customer service or tech support. Every time I attempt to fund my account from a bank or debit card, get error "We couldn't add your money. Our support team is standing by to help". The only way to attempt contact is through the app and I finally got contact via email. Here it is:"Ranny from Venmo Support here. 👋️ I can see that one of my colleagues has assisted you in adding money to your Venmo account. Let me check your case and let’s work together to find a solution. Your best option will be to try the transfer again later, as our system isn’t allowing this attempt to go through. For security reasons, we’re unable to provide additional details about why the transfer didn’t process.  Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee when you’ll be able to add money to your Venmo account successfully. Keep in mind that whenever you receive payments from other users on Venmo, those payments are added to your Venmo balance, and you’re welcome to spend any money on your Venmo balance using your Venmo Debit Card. I know that this is not the outcome that you are looking for but we appreciate your understanding of this process. Please let me know if you have any questions or clarifications regarding this process."It's been over a week and no fix. Venmo's stance on this problem is absurd and there 'service' is marginal. As soon as it DOES get fixed, I will be closing my account. The entire operation is edgy at best.
