Extremely Unprofessional and Costing Me Money. I updated my short-term rental permit for my property weeks ago, but VRBO still has my listing pulled. Every single day I’m told the same thing — “be patient, it’ll be back up in 3 to 24 hours.” Every day, nothing happens. When I call back, I’m told I have to start the process over again.Updating an expired permit is extremely basic — it happens every year — yet VRBO has made it an absolute nightmare. I’ve been passed around endlessly, and shockingly, even the customer service agents claim there’s no way for them to contact the department that handles this. How is that even possible?Meanwhile, I’m losing money every single day and now have upcoming bookings that I’m being forced to cancel. This is unacceptable. VRBO’s lack of professionalism and internal communication is absolutely appalling, and they clearly have no regard for their hosts’ businesses.
