Have used VRBO a few times, and have used its partner site Orbitz a ton, I’m rated Platinum, so whatever that’s worth. I booked a VRBO for London, and while confirming check-in 5 days prior with guest was notified there had been a fire at the property. I cancelled the booking with an explanation that the host was unable to honor the booking. I forwarded email proof from the host. The customer support from Orbitz and VRBO is garbage. They are rude and condescending, and worse off useless. I have spent TENS of thousands of dollars over the years with Orbitz, and this will be the last time. Absolute garbage.
