Terrible company, terrible customer service.

I ordered a tv stand from Wayfair. It arrived on my doorstep and all my husband and I did was bring it inside. The package had multiple punctures in it, but we hoped for the best. We opened the package and of course there were multiple dents in the door of the tv stand. We didn’t bother to take anything else out of the package as it was obviously damaged, and I don’t want a damaged tv stand in my living room. I messaged Wayfair and the first person was great. She said no problem we will replace that for you, and we will have FedEx come and pick up your original one tomorrow. I waited multiple days and nothing. Then I get a message saying the resolutions management team is taking a look at it and that they need more photos. So I untape the box again and take more photos of the damage to the box and the damage to the door. I send the photos over and receive an email saying that the “item did arrive as intended. And our supplier will be standing behind this item.” And to top it off I can pay to return the item if I would like! Me pay for the damaged item to be returned…absolutely ridiculous. Someone show me in the description of the tv stand where it tells me that I am supposed to receive a dented and damaged door. So just because I ordered a tv stand from wayfair and it arrived to me damaged, I’m somehow responsible for this. I will never be buying anything from this company again. What an awful policy and false advertising to have your customers be responsible for products that arrive damaged to them. Despicable. Your management resolutions team is the problem!! They are losing you customers! A product arrived damaged to my home and I’ve been told nothing is wrong with it and that I can pay to ship it back if I’m not happy with it. Absolutely absurd.
