Review of eventbrite
We booked an event through Eventbrite, and when we arrived, the event wasn't happening. We were told that there had been an event with a similar description the month prior at the venue, but there wasn't one on that night. We were scammed out of £62.00. I have reported this to Eventbrite and our purchasing source and hope we get our money back, but I have not heard anything yet. Shocking that Eventbrite doesn't have better systems to check these things!!

I like using Adobe programs, but I like previous versions that I knew how to use. I feel sorry for a company that has to justify their existence having to update their program almost every day. A person gets used to a program and what it offers and then things get switched around or tools are not handled like previously and you have to find it or try to recreate a step you were very good at but now it doesn't work. It is pretty upsetting after a 36 year career and a frequent user of your product. Dam stupid...It's not possible to have that many changes, it must be that your developer's make lots of mistakes that they have to correct...huh? My wish is to go back to a earlier version that served me very well and I knew my process and quickly dud my work. Not the case now when I have to learn how the"newest"version has changed and now what do I have to learn all over again. Very stressful. Too bad Adobe never takes any of that into consideration and forgets all the bugs that come with all those changes. Thanks for nothing. Good luck with all the money your company brings in...but no heart for your users.
Review of getpocket
I love Pocket for saving articles I want to read when I have free time. I've been using for years, since it was called Read it Later, and I've saved and read probably a couple of hundred articles on it since I got my account. I like how well it integrates with my browser (Firefox) and my Kobo for reading on weekends. Makes me happy to cuddle up on a couch on weekends reading my saved articles 🙂

Review of shutterstock
I was a Shutterstock contributor for over a year with no violations. My account was suddenly suspended on April 29, 2025, because one of my images was found on a third-party website. I proved that I’m the original creator by sending multiple photos from the same photoshoot, complete with EXIF metadata showing my camera and shooting data.Despite following Shutterstock's exact appeal instructions, they ignored my messages for nearly two months. No reply, no decision, just silence. This treatment is humiliating. Shutterstock depends on contributors, yet shows zero respect when we need support. If you're thinking of contributing to this platform — be warned. They can delete your work and ignore you, even when you're right.
Review of mayoclinic
I visited the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in July because of a recurrent issue I was having with my back, hip, head and legs. I just wanted to get a second opinion because the doctors I had, I live 2 hours from the clinic, just didn't know what was happening. I had an MRI, CAT and X-ray but all they could find was a small bulge in my spine. They ordered therapy, medicine and shots in my spine. None have effectively worked. I called to make an appointment to the Mayo clinic because I felt there was more issues going on. When I arrived there, the doctors and nurses were extremely professional and seemed to care about my well-being. I had just about every test known to man, or close to it, and got some more informative answers. They didn't come off as condescending but compassionate and caring. I thought I would stay for a day or so, because they found other issues that I needed to have 4-5 more tests. I honestly feel more comfortable with the doctors and nurses there. World class clinic that lives up to their reputation.
Review of dropbox
I've had a DropBox account since the very early days. I've never used it much, but once in a while it was a quick and efficient way of sending a few files across the world. And it was free. Now, every time I use it, I'm bombarded with "Your Dropbox is almost full" / "Upgrade account" messages, and occasionally, despite the few items stored there, it refuses to help on the basis that my account is "full".While it may seem unfair to gripe about a free service, I've cost them very little over the years, and I've recommended them consistently as a good and reliable service. But I've had enough. I'm closing my account, and will recommend them no more.
Review of dropbox
Changed to a new carrier, phone, and number, but updated everything except my dropbox account (silly me).Try to set it up on my new phone, and it asks for a 2FA code-that went to my old number! So I figure "Ok, no biggie-I'll just reach out to have support change that." like most any other online service can do...right?Unfortunately I was dead wrong! After reviewing their FAQ but not finding it helpful (I have no other devices synced, nor any 'emergency codes' saved, etc.) I submit a supprt request only for them to respond and REGURGITATE WHAT THEIR FAQ SAYS, THAT I ALREADY READ! When I say I already tried that, their response is that they basically have no control over a user's account access-effectively saying it's my responsibility/fault if I can't get in.I've never seen such miserably poor customer service, and don't understand why dropbox puts this much 'stock' in their user base maintaining access to their account. All I can do now is hope that no one hacks my account and accesses PII in certain files I have saved...never using them again!
