Review of duolingo

Free for some

I have been using Duolingo for around 2 years. For the 1st year I used it for free but I was so impressed with the company and that they gave the system to schools for free I decided that I would pay a year's subscription for 2023 as my thank you to them. This year I had other priorities so I cancelled my membership for 2024. Duolingo have retaliated by making it almost impossible for me to continue using the system as a free service. After several minutes of starting a lesson I'm told I don't have enough "hearts" to continue so of course I should buy "Super" Duolingo, I'm assailed by constant pop ups to by the "Super" program, so it's certainly no longer a free program for me. So my good intention has been rewarded by me no longer being able to use the service. Very, very disappointed & of course attempting to get in touch with them is impossible.

Completely plagiarized advertising clickbait

This website has so many ads, it can't even load. None of the content is original, they just steal content and ad revenue from other websites. You are much better off viewing the original websites they stole from, which probably have a tenth of the ads, and would load properly. Plus, the ad revenue would go to the people that actually wrote the content, instead of these disgusting, greedy plagiarists.

Awful experience

I have been waiting for my 6 month old PC to be fixed and returned. It had to go to Germany to be fixed but the call centre is based in my home town here in the UKThis was early December 2016Now they are telling me they are waiting for a spare part to arriveUPDATE: 08.03.17I have now spoken to someone here in the UK and been promised a NEW PC as agreed that is the way to rectify this. Awaiting to see what happens next,

Great

I'm building an online shop with the use of many Crocoblock plugins. In my opinion it is the best way to make your shop as professional as possible. Furthermore, what really stands out is the support. Sometimes it can get a bit tricky but you'll always get help. Especially Liia and Natalie are two lovely persons which are always willing to help. And if there is a solution they'll find it. Thank yo so much!!

HORRIBLE COMPANY. HORRIBLE CSR'S. THEY TRULY DON'T CARE

Every time I call Ulta guest services someone in Asia answers the phone and they don't try to resolve your issue and they are very rude. I HARDLY EVER GET AN AMERICAN WHEN I CALL. I guess it's time to get rid of the Ultra credit card and get a Sephora. I've had issues with Ulta before that was not my fault and it's obvious they don't want my money anymore. I have spent hundreds with them in the last two years. Now it's black Friday and I cannot place an order online. GOODBYE ULTA.Look at their reviews. 75% is one star reviews and they do nothing to change it. THAT'S BAD

Invasion of privacy, deduction money with authorisation

I am surprised that LinkedIn does not have a customer service email contact, hence how I found the Linkedin review. I was aiming to review the services I have received from LinkedIn and there is no platform to communicate or complain. Or am I missing something?Secondly, I did the free Linkedin Premium trial only for my card to be charged(I have always been sceptical of this over the years). I did not leave my card details on LinkedIn, that was why I was confident to try the free premium in the first place. But I was wrong. I am highly disappointed, I feel it's an invasion of my privacy for linkedin to deducted money from my card without my authorisation! I am now wondering if this was to trick people into getting money or LinkedIn is operating under a false pretence of free LinkedIn premium

The Worst Customer Support

The worst customer service ever! They are not even professional, just rude and cruel, and don't know how to handle a situation. My account was hacked and some hackers posted inappropriate things using that account. verified with my NID and said all the things, still they said that the restrictions will be permanent and that's the last message from them. Worst experience! I won't recommend anyone to use this mutherfucking app.

Idiotic site run by basket cases!

I posted an innocent post on the hand maids tale. A woman came back, mouthing off telling me how lucky I am not being stoned etc.Then proceeded to swear at me.I replied would she not swear, as my post was simple, she says oh it’s all about you! Which I was flummoxed at and I said she was mouthy, guess who got a ban? Not her. Facebook are absolute w@nkers
