Scammers

Scammers. I was trying to purchase tickets to an event in Virginia. The site said no tickets available, but that I could buy a Meet and Greet ticket for a substantial premium. I hit that button (which was on the Virginia event page). I paid by credit card, but when I got the email confirmation, it was for a different date, and was in Colorado! I immediately contacted them, and explained that their link was bad and I needed to cancel. After a couple of e-mail exchanges, they refused to cancel the charge, and said I should try and sell it to someone else! Stay far away from these people!

Impossible to contact. All links take you to advice which is simply unhelpful. Have a refund request which is not progressing and which I cannot chase. I will be avoiding any events promoted by Eventbrite in the future

Amazon delivery is terrible

Amazon delivery is terrible. On 4th Feb I placed an order with Amazon for two items, to be delivered the next day 5th Feb. 5th Feb at 19.21 I get a text from a mobile number, my order will be delivered shortly, a second after I receive another text from the same mobile, my order has been delivered. I check my Amazon account and there it say my order has been handed to me. I was at home nobody deliver anything. I reported it to Amazon and was told to wait till 7th Feb and a solution would be found. 6th Feb, I receive another text from the same mobile number saying, unfortunately your order couldn’t be delivered. I also received an email from Amazon saying, unfortunately we ran into issues when attempting to deliver. Again I was at home and nobody attempted to deliver anything. I even got my husband to go downstairs to ring our door bell to make sure it is working and it is working fine. I can't go out as I am unwell so I am always at home. This is not the first time this has happened. Where is my order??????

We ordered a d11 dozer at 399 pounds from lego.Rather than amazon, first mistake.Email with tracking to say dispatched number for dpd.Just kept saying we are awaiting your parcel.36 hrs later still the same so we ring lego,Basically the answer is oh well wait 7 days get a letter from dpd and we will reship it.Never ever buy from lego no refund there attitude towards kids stinks.Doubt lego will read these revues so no interest in improving there business or our experience but why would they when they can take money of kids for nothing

I bought a course in discount and it offered me the option to add domestika plus for free to try it for 30 days. They charged me $20 for domestika plus and they don't have a contact page to try to get your money back. What a scam!

I will never order something via bol.com and will tell everyone to never trust them and their custom

I never had problems with bol.com before, until recently.I ordered an item from a third party, via them, exactly 2 weeks ago. The next day, the item was marked as delivered, but did not arrive. I managed to get a hold of someone in their chat. I was told to wait 3 more working days, which I did. Nothing arrived. Again, chat with another person and I was told that the item was marked as delivered by mistake, but it was certainly coming. That's it. Next up, an email to client services, no reply. A week later, another email, no reply. These are practices of shady companies that look to trick customers. Customer service is the most important thing you can do to get and keep customers.After this experience, I will never order something via bol.com and will tell everyone to never trust them and their customer service.

So the only reason I downloaded them was to get a free $10. I had the hardest time trying to transfer that money It wasn’t even worth it. I still don’t have my money but I’m glad I didn’t link my actual bank with them because they were saying it’s fee to do that!

Terrible after sales

Terrible after sales after receiving an amp which appeared to have been repackaged and wasn't working. When I suggested it was a used item instead of new, they just said ok. Missing power cable also and was sent a travel adapter instead! Staff were rude when I had to try to chase my refund who told me just to accept this was the way it was and refused to let me speak to a manager. They then took 1 week from receiving the amp to opening it to confirm receipt and process the refund. I had ordered items prior and all was well but the test of a company is when something goes wrong and they just don't seem to care.

Do they understand their members?

I've lapsed our membership. I'll return when they ditch the dysfunctional booking system. The whole point of NT for many is to visit a local site when the weather is nice, often on the spur of the moment. I accept covid restrictions but English Heritage managed to implement a sensible system so why can't NT? Allocating slots once a week irritates everyone I've spoken to. It's just a trip to a historic property, not a rock concert!

You guys sent me a printer not linked to my account which has been very inconvenient to my business. I have yet to get a solution & I have been without any business for 3 days now. I am very upset I’ve called everyone just apologizing but there has been no resolution to an issue that was created on your behalf. I plan on canceling all my subscriptions if there’s no solution today. Everyone keep telling me the supervisor gonna call me back since yesterday & I had to continuously call to speak with her. Who still had no resolution all I keep getting told is I have to wait. This is very upsetting when every month a fee is being taking from my account. I expect this to be resolved quickly especially being as though this was an issue on your warehouse behalf.

HP Pavillion 16inch touch screen review from Currys

Bought just over a year ago from Currys a brand new HP pavillion 16inch touch screen. After 9 months had issues with touch screen sometimes with ghost touch. Just a few days after warranty expired, 12 months, ghist touch started causing more issues. Wiped screen and worked ok for few months. But then the worse ghost touch started causing deletion of folders, changing text. No keys would work even if mouse. HP charge £80 just to see the laptop with further charges to repair a badly made product in the first place. No refund or credit offered after 12months. They make you feel bad about not getting the extended warranty. I feel its on purpose as it doesnt make sense to me how a laptop plays up this bad just after warranty expires. In the end i couldnt use the laptop and had the touch screen disabled to find my important folders were deleted bu the ghost touch screen to never be found in the trash or otherwise. Never buying HP laptops again. Terrible laptops. Bad quality product and terrible customer service who know their products expire after a year. I highly advise to go for other brands. I have to buy a new laptop after paying £400 for the disastrous HP laptop from hell I call it. HP should be shamed of themselves for making such low quality laptops untested and causing problems. What a waste of money.

It’s Always a Pleasure Dealing with Amex

I’m writing this after speaking to American Express customer service earlier today.My partner and I have multiple Amex credit cards and we’ve both been card members for over a year. I often think that if American Express offered bank accounts in the UK, I’d switch in a minute.Customer service is impeccable. I always get through to someone pretty much instantly and every adviser I’ve spoken to over the past year has been friendly, approachable and eager to help. Every matter is resolved with care and speed. I use the iPhone app to manage my account and it’s brilliant, including the ‘Chat’ feature - the first I’ve ever used that was actually user-friendly.We’ve also accumulated a lot of bonuses and air miles through various reward schemes with Amex and partner companies, unlocking incredible travel opportunities.I would definitely recommend them!
