I made my first purchase from DSW of some UGGS Slippers. I specifically asked the store employee if these shoes were seconds or were made specifically for discount stores, and was told “no, we take a loss on the sale of UGGS, as this is one of our loss leaders to get people into the store.” Within 3 weeks these new slippers (worn only in the house) were failing — the fur lining in the insole was bunching up and pulling away from the edgesof the insole — it appeared to have never been bonded to the midsole except around the edges. I returned them to DSW for a refund, showing them the manufacturer’s defect in the shoe. This sales person said that these were indeed a cheaper discount line of the UGGS products (so the previous DSW employee had lied to me). She said that DSW is not the shoe’s manufacturer and therefore is not responsible for any defects. She very reluctantly agreed to give me STORE CREDIT for the purchase. I told them that I wanted my cash back for a defective shoe, but she flatly refused. Since DSW DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS, I would NEVER again deal with DSW, as they don’t sell quality products and as a result, they refuse to support their customers with the products they sell. Beware!

I called the customer service number on the web site and got transferred to someone trying to sell me a medical device. I hung up and called back and this time went directly to the medical device annoying sales lady. Tried a third time and a recording picked up saying that I cannot call this number.A scam. Just trying to find out where my missing order is. Finally I looked up their phone number on the web away from their site and ended up in India with a lady who talked too much. I was told exactly what I already knew, it is pending. Ugh. Never again. Prices are higher so they should have better customer service than this . no reason to go back.

I bought a Nokia G60 5G in May 2023, after an automatic update it now no longer works. In other words they broke it with a faulty update. The only solution on offer is to send it back for repair which takes up to 2 weeks. My phone is my only means of contact so I can't be without it for 2 weeks. I will have to buy a replacement so I requested a refund on this faulty 5 month old phone. Apparently not possible - the "remorse" period is one month. They were not able to email a copy of our conversation (including detailed return instructions) because their system does not "allow" it. My only remorse is buying from them in the first place - shockingly poor service.

I have encountered significant issues with two separate hotel bookings, and I am seeking a resolution.Firstly, my initial hotel booking was not located by the hotel upon my inquiry. It was revealed that your supplier had erroneously booked my family and me into a completely different hotel. Had I not proactively contacted the hotel, we would have arrived on August 6th with no accommodation available, which would have been a major inconvenience.Unfortunately, the same issue has occurred with my second booking. The hotel cannot find our reservation, and your customer service team has been ineffective in escalating the issue or providing a solution. Despite my repeated attempts to seek assistance, I have not received any follow-up calls, leaving me uncertain about our accommodation for the upcoming holiday in August.I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and support from your team. I kindly request that someone of seniority addresses this matter urgently and provides a satisfactory resolution. If you are a tour operator and are considering to join Viator, don't. The have extremly high comissions to guarantee your visibilty and their costumer service is awful. Here you depend also on reviews, but basically you can not do anything in case you receive a false or unfair review, because they don't care. Is better if you use GetYourGuide, which is more tour operator friendly. But Viator is terrible. Maybe one of the worst OTA.

After the performance of National Trust in 2020 with their campaign against everything that stands for being British my wife and I have not renewed our membership and have made the decision never to visit a National Trust property again, there are lots of other organisations to support in these difficult times when places open up to the public again.

My husband suffers from chronic hiccups, and I mean 24/7/365 hiccups. He can hardly sleep, throws up, chokes, stops breathing, and his chest hurts constantly bc of them. The Mayo Clinic in Rochester is the only place in the country who does a procedure to stop the hiccups. We had at least 8 doctors send letters to Mayo telling them this is a quality of life issue and potentially fatal bc of him stopping breathing. We applied twice and also sent an appeal letter after the 2d denial. Bc Michael has Medicare as his primary insurance (he also has federal BC/BS), they denied him. It's not like they wouldn't get their money w/2 insurances. The Mayo Clinic in Rochester is GARBAGE! Picking and choosing who they'll help based on money and insurance is nothing but pure GREED! Trust me, this hospital cares nothing about their patients, only the dollars a patient can provide!

I agree with all the reviews about the app. They don’t make it easy to reach them. The app tells you one thing while the driver tells you another. They get you with click bait by saying the driver will come in 3 minutes, but 7 minutes later I’m still waiting, the driver won’t cancel, and the app wants me to pay a fee to cancel!????!!! How is this okay?

Ok, so as a former seller on Amazon, I feel obligated to put in print my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the means and methods that Amazon uses to perform their work. Nothing, I repeat nothing is straightforward or simple in accomplishing whatever it is you set out to do with Amazon as a seller. The process is so complicated and so demanding and requires such specific input it's virtually impossible to get anything done. And then to have product returned that did not sell that I had regretfully sent to Amazon fulfillment distribution centers oh my God. I can only imagine that giving birth to a 20 lb infant would be easier than what they require. Then of course you call for help you wait for 40 minutes and you finally connect with someone that speaks English as a foreign language and of course the call is disconnected what a delight. Other than that I have no strong feelings. Rest assured Amazon will never ever get my business again as a buyer or seller and of conversation

In general I have great experience with AbeBooks. I purchase from sellers that proved to be good, the quality in most cases is as described. When I need a book from UK, I go to AbeBooks as well.When shipped from UK I expect longer wait (1 month is kinda expected). Otherwise, quick enough. Still better than purchase from Amazon (do I need to explain why?).
