Review of WordPress

Confusing and complicated

When I started using WP (free) a few years ago for simple blogging it was okay. Quite user friendly once you understood how it worked. Then came the updates with the "blocks", this was forced unto me when halfway writing my latest blog. Despite what WP claims, you cannot mix classic (old) with blocks (new), it's difficult to edit and doesn't look right. Editing the blocks version became a complicated frustrating pain in the backside. Eventually after hours of wasted time I switched to Blogger.Blogger is no frills easy to use and just what I want. Keep it simple and keep people happy.

No help,12 days notice vaca canceled!

With only 12 days notice our vacation was canceled via the email that I found in my junk email 3 days prior to check in. So this would be Monday July 29th. We were supposed to check in at the property on Thursday, August 1, 2024) No one from VRBO phoned to let us know that the owner had cancelled the reservation. (how are they allowed to cancel only 12 days prior? Shouldn’t it be more like 30 to 60 days? What is VRBO policy to protect their customers from this sort of thing?) The CT owner (or host Carol Bona) did not even phone or text to ensure that I got the cancellation message! We booked this property at the start of March 2024. And I had just contacted and them on July 15th (2days) before the cancellation on July 17, 2024. I only found out about it as I was trying to show our rental to a coworker. When I couldn’t bring up the property or photos and noticed that the reservation status showed canceled. I made a desperate attempt to try to reach to the host Carol Bona to let her know that I hadn’t canceled and in the mean time and I tried to connect with Vrbo. I couldn’t even find a phone number or an email. But since they were associated with Hotels.com, I reached out to them for help on their Internet chat. Hotels.com let me know that the money was refunded and they gave me the phone number for Vrbo. (Vrbo United States 877-228-3145 or 877-202-4291 Outside the US 1-512-782-0805) I was on hold with them for almost 30 minutes (while at work and being totally freaked out ) and then they hung up on me. When I get out of work 2:30 pm I was able to look for the cancellation notice and finally it in my junk email, and the cancellation was due to the owners death ( He lived at other property in Florida, or the Caribbean, I forget specifically where the other property was) But why didn’t they honor the reservation? why are they allowed to just cancel at any time? Not just mine, but there were others reservations, after mine. This property was booked into September. Anyway, I also called Vrbo back, the Rep said they would expedite the matter. However No one called by 5:30pm so I called again, I was assured that the Expedite team would call me back, that they were researching properties & would call when they had the available properties that would match my reservation. I replied to the rep that it was in the middle of summer & and I was due to check in on Thursday (August 1,2024) with family. This would be an impossible and he assured me that they had access to properties that I couldn’t view on their website. So I waited and in the meantime, I researched a Plan B for ourselves. No one from VRBO ever called us back. It was a complete line of BS just to get off the phone. Thursday came and went not a soul from VRBO called me. It’s now Monday, August 5th and no one has called to apologize or anything. We specifically rented the property in West Suffield Connecticut, because it was the in between point for our family and friends and because it had a pool with a large space as we were going to host a gathering for about 30 to 40 people. The host and owner knew this and we’re excited that someone was going to host a party there. I even went and viewed the property in person to make sure that it was fine. They did refund our money but that doesn’t make up for the loss of time and effort, the scrambling to find to find another place to hold the party, and notifying all the guest of a new location. We purchased items for the party, 2 large patio umbrellas & stands so that we would have shade around pool, an ice serving table and other items not to mention the invitations that were sent out. I will do my best to discourage everyone I know & meet to NOT use VRBO. They are a fraudulent reservation service.

Pandora is without a doubt the worse …

Pandora is without a doubt the worse company to deal with ever. Placed an order in Nov 27. Every day they lied about shipping. Gave out fake UPS tracking numbers. Lied about inventory and stock. Cancelled my order then told me it would be shipped overnight. Said it would be shipped over night for a week. Promised supervisor call backs and never callled back. Pandora practices fraud on a daily basis. Purchase at your own peril. Refused refunds. Had to tell my credit card company that they are nothing but fraud practicing parasites to get my money back.

Extremely Poor Delivery Experience

IKEA Ireland - The delivery process is incredibly frustrating and lacks any real communication. We placed an order online through IKEA’s website, and the ordering process itself was smooth. We were allocated a delivery day with a massive time window between 7 AM and 7 PM. To accommodate, we ensured we were home all day.However, no delivery was made. Even worse, we received absolutely no updates or communication about any delays or changes to the schedule. We’re now left waiting indefinitely, hoping for an update whenever they decide to provide one.When we contacted IKEA customer support, they were no help at all. Instead of resolving the issue, they placed the blame entirely on their delivery partner, DPD. As customers, this passing of responsibility is unacceptable—we expect IKEA to take ownership of the process.This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I cannot recommend their delivery service. Improvements in communication and accountability are urgently needed.

INACCURATE INFORMATION OR ANSWERS 99% OF THE TIME

After several months and multiple updates/upgrades etc. from Microsoft, I am sad to say that no progress appears to have been made, whatsoever, at getting Copilot to provide more accurate and trustworthy information in its responses. It does not matter what the topic is or how I phrase my prompt, any information provided by Copilot MUST be verified rather than accepted as true/correct. Information is sometimes omitted or incorrect information added (with no obvious reason why in either case) to Copilot's responses, glitches/errors and instances of "wires getting crossed" according to Copilot are the only explanation given for these errors. Responses often do not include citations or sources as they are supposed to and I must ask for them specifically. Even if you do receive the citations for sources in the initial response, you must click on and double check each one of them or accuracy. I have found Copilot often cites a source and then provides incorrect information that does not match the source used, duplicate sources labeled as different things when listed by Copilot but both lead to the same site when you actually click on them....and it just goes on from there. Copilot's latest response when I point out a mistake or inaccuracy is that while it strives to be as helpful as possible when providing information, it also strives to maintain the tone of the conversation with the user and sometimes this leads to the information provided in the response having to be "changed." When I ask directly "Are you saying that you knowingly gave me a wrong answer in order to meet some other criteria or maintain the "conversational tone" of our chat, in a long and often repetitious response Copilot basically answers my question with a YES or affirmative. It was aware the info provided to me was inaccurate, incomplete, just plain wrong in some way and it did it anyway. The promises to always strive for greatest accuracy possible from the AI are falling on deaf ears at this point as it has shown no evidence of actually doing so........with all the other limitations to current AI that may or may not be worked out over time I still felt like most of those issues could be dealt with in order to move forward. Algorithms and patterns that lead to blatantly wrong responses being given on purpose however is not something that can be dealt with over time. That is a deal breaker for me, I have no use whatsoever for a digital assistant that lies to me for any reason, let alone a stupid one. Back to the drawing board Microsoft, although transparency and accuracy in the information provided to the public is not a strong suit of the company's either so is it any wonder that they built an AI with the same issue?

Specifically, I recently purchased a pair of museframes@user491936960, which were inaccurately represented—they did not match the description or images provided on the platform. This experience has left me dissatisfied. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to raise awareness about this issue and protect other potential customers. Review of gopro

The Biggest Regret of my filmmaking life.

If I could give a ZERO star I would. To start, this camera is unable to stay on without freezing. I can’t tell you the level of frustration this brings into my life. Constantly having to reset the camera every other time I attempt to record. Second, when I reset the camera and try to turn it back on, it’s gives me a black screen and is frozen on the black screen. I have to wait at least 10 minutes to be able to turn it back on. Once it’s back on, I have from second up to a few minutes before it freezes again. This is ALL the time. Third, the quality is poor to what they market, you get much clearer video and image from an iPhone. GoPro brings antiquity to a modern look, and makes no attempt to better it’s camera quality. This can’t be just mine. I’ve replaced it because it’s part of the subscription, and to no avail, it’s an absolute worthless “action” camera. If you have any special events coming up, please don’t plan on depending on gopro hero 8. It is now the most expensive paperweight I own. Customer Service is awful and their hands are always “tied” to what they can do. Instead of help, they offer a sales pitch to talk up their editing service which I never use because I can never get enough footage. It’s also added steps to editing, I use much faster programs to edit. I can only imagine the headaches this would cause me if there software is anything like their equipment. I’m so disappointed because of the expectation I had not coming close to the reality of this product and service. I recommend some put options on GoPro, NFA.

WARNING DO NOT PAY ANYTHING, no working support or refounds on broken games!

Bought Monopoly for me and kids to play online. Nothing works, connection errors and other game crashes, even though all requirements are met an no NAT problems. Impossible to get in touch with Ubisoft. The support page is looping between FAQ and login but never gets you to actual support. I AM BANNING UBISOFT. I've had enough!
