Review Time
I have to review on here to share some major concerns I have for a sitter based in Normandy, Guildford, Surrey (Amanda G) as Rover will not take the issue seriously.If you are looking for a sitter DO NOT take your dogs to this person as your dogs will be shut outside barking all hours of the day and left unsupervised for hours whilst the sitter is out. I have evidence of this.Multiple people have now complained to the council and the situation is currently being investigated. There may be stockpiled photos of the sitter appearing like she walks them each day but I would urge anyone engaging with her services to investigate the exact timestamp of the photos as it seems the dogs aren't walked regularly instead, they're left in the garden, usually shut out.
Rover allowed me to leave my cats alone for a week with full confidence they would be well cared for. I could pick and screen my cat sitter’s reviews and see she had the experience and care I needed through Rover. Using the app to communicate was easy, and every day she sent in photos and report cards. Notifications were sent to my phone number, which I could then check through the website. I haven’t needed to use their service in years, but sign in was quick and easy, and my last appointment was still visible.
I was really worried about being in the hospital and leaving my house and my sweet elderly dog with a stranger. ROVER proved they could come through. They house was unmolested hahaha and Shelby was taken care of better than I hoped. She was happy with new friend and did not appear at all distressed. All her routines were followed, she was able to stay in her own home rather than a kennel. It was a great blessing to have her taken such good care of. Rover gave me confidence to leave home and focus on my health and I am so grateful for that. Also the cost was very reasonable, I will let friends know what a great experience we had with Rover. Thank you.
