Review of eventbrite
We held a charitable event for our Rotary Club supporting the local food bank, hospice and other international causes, and we were very dismayed to see fees of £86 for an event that sold 54 ticketsI will not be using Eventbrite for a future fundraising event, and would strongly advise no one else to do so either

After spending a few weeks exploring this site, I'm a but on the fence. The daily news sections are thorough, but I wish there was a simpler introduction for total beginners like me. That said, the content is certainly well-researched.

NEVER USE BOOKING.COM!We booked to stay in an apartment in London which was close to a venue we were going to. When we got to the venue, we found mice, mice droppings, there was no electricity, no hot water, the tap was broken, one of the beds was broken, all of the chairs were either broken or very wobbly , the toilet seat was broken, and there was dirty laundry in the wardrobe as well as rotten food in the fridge and cupboards! We contacted booking.com to complain, they put in a complaint and then after a week or two, we didn’t hear anything. So we called back, after sending lots of evidence of everything we found, for Booking.com to respond with ‘we can’t do anything because the owner doesn’t want to issue a refund’.We booked a travelodge also through booking.com, wasting an EXTRA £450 so now we’re roughly £800 down for a 2 night stay. I’m disgusted! That apartment was a biohazard. Through and through! The disgusting apartment is still on booking.com, meaning that they won’t supply refunds and don’t care that people are paying them money to stay in a dangerous environment. If I could rate them 0 stars I would, if anybody is looking to visit London, avoid the Modern Family Home apartment in Walthamstow!

Good afternoonYesterday an Amazon driver came on to our road (not delivering to my house ) and proceeded to drive all over my Garden and plants . I approached him to explain what he done and to ask who he worked for . He was abusive and drove off. I asked my neighbours if he had delivered to them and showed them the damage. After this I drove to our local shop and recieved a message from my neighbour, saying can I ring them. Basically the same driver returned to our road and subsequently drove intentionally over my garden and drove off . My neighbour approached him as he stopped at the top of our road and advised him he had witnessed what he had done and that he was an off duty policeman. He then drove off at a speed but we have his licence plate . I also have video footage of him delivering on our estate at the time, from numerical people who are also very shocked. I have contacted the police and they have given me a crime number and will be investigating.I am very distressed that someone could come back to my home for the sole purpose of damaging my property and making me feel vulnerable.I await your reply and will provide all relevant information when you do so :This is a serious matter and should be treated urgentlyBest wishesJayne McDonaldThis is what I have sent to Amazon and received no reply. Absolute disgrace

I had a trial, the app was ok but before the end of the trial they do not inform you that your trial is ending instead they charge you for the whole year, not even for 1 month, but for the whole year...GREAT, it is not done tho. You try to contact them and ask for a refund?? oh, they will simply ignore you. Such an awesome customer service. I have been using many apps in the financial industry free and paid, but so far I have never seen such a mess.

Review of BBC
The new v7 app is just dire. Now you can only see “my news” by category, not chronologically. Latest news is limited to 4 items and doesn’t seem to be expandable (unlike categories) so only shows you what seems to have been updated in the last few minutes/hours but you can’t roll back further. How on earth did this awful bit of app design manage to pass any form of acceptance or testing panel as it’s not just not fit for purpose. Bring back the precious “endless” list you could just scroll down and see articles in the order they were added or updated.
Review of BBC
The new update seems to create a random list of popular items that do not reflect the important global news of the day. Ukraine seems to have disappeared. My news is by item and not category which is unhelpful. I cannot see myself using this app any more.
