Review of 99designs

It is a good starting point.

I was on 99 for over 5 years and won over 100 contest ,which sounds pretty good but it was a lot of work,it was well over 1000s of entries.They have a designer level structure ,which allows (gold level) to design in the most profitable contest,which seemed very suspicious because designers that had a lot of wins and had been there for many years were not becoming gold designers,yet new designers with 1 or 2 wins were made gold,perhaps friends of staff or staff members?,who knows?secondly there r blind and non blind contest,non blind will almost always mean you will be ripped off of your dlesign once the Contest holder scores your design and not much recourse other than reporting them and that's not a 100% resolution,and another problems is designers reporting you as using clip art and you will be flag and have to prove it and sometimes you will not a chance and u will be suspended and ultimately your profile will be deleted. THE PROBLEM WITH 99 IS THAT THEY LET ANYONE W/ART PROGRAM JOIN!.... so you can make money on 99 ,but it's a lot of BS to get to it ,my advice ,be prepared to design a lot and don't have thin skin .

Bad service, errors in theme and the problems contiues. Seems that they are upselling all the time, to more paid themes and consultant services. Not easy at all. I have lost all my trust…I don’t think Shopify want us to succeed easy. They want to earn most money by making us unsecure.

Once upon a time Mercari used to be a decent platform for buyers and sellers. Now it is a hot mess. Many listings are scams now and Mercari just allows it to continue.Buyers fees, sellers fees, they can’t decide who to make pay the fee. Seller? Well they raise their prices then and you see “secondhand” prices the same as new in store prices. Buyer? Well, that $20 item they want has a $6+ buyers fee on top of it. Don’t get me started on if you happen to fall for and buy a scam listing because Mercari allows the grift. It’s like going on Oprah and winning fees and scams for all. If your package doesn’t show up or tracking stops updating and it’s been a month, prepare to fight with some random keyboard warrior customer service agent. Be prepared to contact your post office per their suggestion, despite the package never even making it to your post office. Makes complete sense of course! Obviously they’d know where the package is since it never arrived to their building! Then waiting a month for it to still not arrive only to reach out to another random keyboard warrior to start the circle all over again. I remember when Mercari was functioning well and sellers/buyers were flowing. It is now just a disappointing shell of its former self. Pro tips- If you’re gonna use Mercari check sellers profile very carefully. Look at how long the item has been listed. Look if any questions about the item have been asked and more importantly, has the seller answered any of them? If it feels “off” it probably is. Mercari continues to allow scammers. Be smarter than both. See a big ticket item you want? Don’t trust it. It sucks when you lose any money to a scammer but when you lose hundreds it’s gonna suck more. Hopefully you never have to contact customer service. With all the fees Mercari collects you would think their customer support would maybe I don’t know, give actual support? Nah. Supporting the scammers is the priority.Last thing, when you get scammed and Mercari support isn’t supportive-remember the power of a charge back. Thank you all for coming to my Ted talk on Mercari.

My experience was good

My experience was good. After ordering, I’ve started seeing all these adds with negative reviews and I was quite stressed about it. I ordered it late evening on Tuesday and I received it today (Monday) at 9 am. GoPro shipped it on Wednesday and UPS were supposedly delivering it Friday which didn’t happen but arrived first thing on Monday so I can’t complain! I looked at the shipping progress on the UPS MyChoice app (which I found better than using the website) and it was prepared for clearance both Wednesday and Thursday and it eventually left Eindhoven, NL at 14:50 on Friday and arrived in Stanford Le Hope, GB at 20:45 the same day. The next day it went to Tamworth and from there it was delivered on Monday (in Birmingham). I have everything I ordered and the GoPro Hero 9 is great!
