Thumbtack is not where you want to list a business if you do small jobs. They will automatically take money out of your bank for a lead and/or a booking and then the customer will cancel for no reason. Thumbtack will keep your money and not return it. In other words they take money out of your bank just because they can. I trusted them to be honest but they are a scam.Update 02/25/24 I had my bank do a charge back on the money they took from me. I saw a notice that they have changed their policy, so I raised it one star. I still have a profile there but haven't used it since they told me they wouldn't give me back the money they took and that I had to take back.

I just saw a interesting story in TheAtlanic.com that was very interesting on the Senior Executive Service and how its is just a corrupt as ever. These guys at this level of the United States Corporation are mostly the elite types of the various brotherhoods that do strange things in there various organizations. It's my understanding that OPM and The US Patent office are in cahoots with these guys.No wonder why our nations secrets have go to the Crown first. No wonder why America is falling apart. SES also is evolved in our for profit prisoner system as I understand it as well. It's the good old boys club all over.I'm sure some of your children are in those prisons. Maybe unjustly.

I was a victim to a crime during my stay at the Hilton Garden (South San Francisco). I was robbed and lost thousands of dollars. The general manager and staff were highly unsympathetic and insensitive to what occurred to me. It was extremely evident the staff didn't care whatsoever about me or what occurred. All they cared about was getting their money owed for my stay. As I sat there with them, visibly shaking and crying, the manager expressed no sympathy. He just continually repeated himself, demanding that I pay immediately for my week long visit. It was as if he wasn't even listening to me! I made it very clear to him I was robbed and my credit card and cash was all stolen. He did not care.I lost everything to my name. I couldn't even afford a measly bus ticket to the airport so I had to walk 5 miles on foot. The staff wouldn't even offer me a ride. Not one employee was kind enough to offer me a simple ride to the airport. I then missed my flight because I had no one to offer me a ride.I also had to leave ALL my luggage at the hotel. Again, I was ROBBED of everything so I couldn't afford to even load my suitcase on the airplane. I begged the staff to let me borrow a measly $25 but they all refused even though I promised to reimburse them when I returned home. Now I will need to pay hundreds to pay for my own suitcase to be mailed home.No one even bothered to say, "hey I'm sorry you were robbed". You would think that's common curtesy but apparently decency isn't a job requirement at Hilton.The staff was reliably impolite and unfriendly. Awful, awful experience at the Hilton Garden.

I always hated the customer service with this app, but yesterday one of their drivers came into St James Spirit Halloween and was horrible to staff. He got very hostile when we didn’t have the item (green stuffed Oogie Boogie) on his order, and began angrily and loudly Demanding we go look for the item, which we kept telling him was on a truck on the way to the store and wouldn’t be Available for hours, and that we didn’t have it. He bothered three different staff members about this, he was incredibly rude, only spoke enough English to make hostile demands, and angry gestures , and finally left after 15 minutes. He was talking to friends on the phone the entire time. We get insacart in all the time and they’re always polite. it got to the point that the store manager was about to kick him out. Their staff is untrained and has zero customer service. Worst delivery app out there.

The issue was given excellent attention and care. The on line help is very helpful. It had lots of suggestions to try to resolve the problem. Even when it didn't work, the help provide by the service group was exceptionally good!

Order a few things from Macys and it was shipped from AZ.The store did not put my full address on the package it only had my P. O Box on there and not my street address so OnTrac would not deliver it. ( OnTrac is another problem all by itself) OnTrac said Macy needs to update the address and Macys said I need to do that. I spoke with 3 customer service representatives and no one would help me and I couldn’t understand them. I asked to speak to a manager and they just kept me on hold then was hung up on. So frustrating I just told OnTrac to send the package back. I’m done ordering from Macys.
