Terrible... I left the Times months agao and i've received more than 10 sales calls.I signed up again for a month, paid my £26 (extortion) and then rang to cancel (terrible you don't allow people to cancel from their accounts.) To make it all worse, I ring to cancel my subscription and somebody tells me 'it takes a while to load information' on a screen, whilst i'm waiting for this 'information to load' i'm asked for 'feedback'. I told the person on the line I don't have time/i'm at work, and they asked me what my experience was just rephrased. I mentioned 'I really need to work whilst waiting on this call, apologies' and finally I was told I could be 'put on hold' until the 'information loads' I said thank you, 2 seconds later 'the info is loaded' but 'solely because your subscription was so short we have an offer for you and only you, 3 months half price.' I smell... Balls**tBy this time I'm annoyed because it's very easy to figure out when someone is being disengenuous, when I say the Times is not worth £26 by no means especially when the likes of the guardian offer more for free and the hoops they make people jump through to cancel are not fair on people not tech savvy, they start telling me they have journalists from the Guardian and the Telegraph and tell me i'm harrassing :L don't ask for feedback if you don't want it and harassing is calling me so many times I am forced to block the number.disgrace

Review of hotels
I've used hotels.com for years. I liked the fact that reviews there seemed to be real, requiring the author to have actually stayed at the property, unlike other review sites such as Google and Trip Advisor. However, one bad stay has completely changed that. I left a 1-star review for a property I visited but they refused to publish it. The automated email I received cited possible reasons being profanities or mentioning the price paid, neither of which I did. I resubmitted the review two more times but the same refusal email was received. So now you need to bear in mind that hotels.com reviews are as skewed as any others and can't be trusted.

Had a truly lovely anniversary last week at the Hotel. Staff were very helpful. Meal was first class
Only qualm would be the price but you expect to pay top dollar for such an experience. Was just a pity to get back to the day job and go home - or rather care home.
Review of duolingo
I've been learning German with Duolingo for 1 year now. And I totally agree that the recent update is a TOTAL disaster. It seems like we are jumping from one section to another, with no foundation. I am no longer motivated to continue as I have nothing to refer to. I much preferred the older version, at least I had the impression that I was progressing. Not anymore. Bring back the old version or I will cancel my subscription.

Review of nintendo
Abysmal is the only word to sum up my experience with this company. First and foremost, I have been playing games, starting with Nintendo ironically for 30+ years. I have never had to use a warranty repair before with the 30-40 consoles and handhelds I have owned. That being said my Nintendo Switch OLED died on me randomly after charging, died after 7 months of minimal usage so I began my decent into Hell with Nintendo Customer Service. First I contacted them and they told me it was $158 for repair without warranty, I provided my receipt proving my warranty thanks to Gamestop's good customer service I was able to retrieve it. Then I shipped off my system, repairs were non-existent as they decided to provide me with a refurbished replacement claiming power issues. That's fine, not ideal, but fine. I lost all of my saved data (but they do not promise this and I have the Nintendo Cloud thankfully which you have to pay $30 a year for sadly). Fine enough. The process took a little over two weeks, really can't complain here, but what was annoying was the hand holding efforts that I had to put forth to get the information associated with my repair. It took multiple phone calls to get updates, and verify all is well. Now I was just checking my credit card statement and I see that they charged me $158 after providing an uploaded receipt, and providing a printed out copy along with my repair. I was just going to do a chargeback with my credit card company, but instead decided to call Nintendo Customer Service and here I am dealing with their incompetence.
Review of cloudflare
I purchased a domain through Cloudflare and it's been very smooth. I like how everything's in one place (including anti-DDoS and acceleration) and is very configurable. The only thing that is preventing this review from being 5 stars is that I cannot change my domain's nameservers with the free plan, which stops me from using my primary hosting provider.I have found an alternative hosting provider that allows adding A records instead and will update this review if it goes well and push it to 5 stars.UPDATE: It went well 🙂Thank you Cloudflare!
