Formerly perfect learning platform…

Formerly perfect learning platform became really terrible, one of the worst ones. The new interface which already exists for a long time is buggy, slow and vague, but they don't fix anything. They removed ability to buy a separate course and now require a subscription. Even then, if you pay and don't manage to finish a course in the term, you basically lose your money. The only good thing there is the content.

They have worst Customer Support and worst AI

They have worst Customer Support. We can't navigate how to contact customer support. Additionally their AI grader is also disgusting. They didn't tested out and roll it out.

Adafruit absolutely sucks....

They absolutely suck. I cannot get past their 2FA security system to log in. I sent them an email and they told me to use my 6 pin code to log in and reset my password. If I had that, I would not need help. Either way, I noticed that I could order without logging in so I figured I would just do that. For what ever reason they have my shipping address locked and said I need to contact them to have it unlocked it was a security thing. I did just that. They replied back quick enough but required an act of congress to verify my identity. Some of the stuff I could not even supply. I then decided to do a search and found that Mouser sells their junk too. I bought what I needed from Mouser and will have it in 3 days. I have ordered from Adafruit years ago when I needed something that they specifically sell. I have also found out that places like Aliexpress or Ebay sell the same stuff a lot cheaper. It's sad when you dont want to sell to customers enough to try and help them out.

Review of vrbo

I find myself extremely disappointed by…

Terrible Hosting Experience.I find myself extremely disappointed by the lack of response from VRBO regarding three simple questions. Their automated system, as I have been informed, completely refunded a traveler who canceled their reservation merely one week before the scheduled check-in, despite my imposition of the strictest cancellation terms. Consequently, I incurred financial losses as I was unable to occupy my property during what should have been the peak of the season. Their justification was that the traveler had informed them that I had altered the reservation dates. This statement is true, just as it is true that this change was communicated back in January, over 5 months prior. Here is the situation: The guest had made a reservation for a week at the end of July 2023. In January 2023, I communicated within the VRBO platform that there had been a date conflict and proposed alternative dates, unfortunately necessitated by this conflict. In that same January, the guest made the first installment payment for their stay. The final payment was completed in July. However, after completing the final payment, the guest contacted VRBO, expressing the desire to cancel due to the alleged change in reservation dates. I emphasize that my cancellation policy is "strict," allowing a refund only if a guest cancels 60 days prior to check-in. In this case, the guest canceled merely one week before the intended stay, leaving me unable to rent the property. The guest should have communicated their disagreement back in January, and I am perplexed as to why they continued to make payments. Doesn't this payment continuation indicate an acceptance? If I were in a similar situation and a host communicated a date change that did not suit me, I would immediately express my dissatisfaction, not continue making payments for 5 months, with the final payment just a week before check-in, only to later cancel. The most absurd aspect of this situation is that VRBO repeatedly asks me for evidence regarding the guest's acceptance of the date change. But isn't the fact that the guest began payments after the date change a confirmation in itself? What troubles me greatly is that I have repeatedly requested answers to these three simple questions in every email I've sent them, yet they have consistently ignored them. Will they continue this behavior here?I continue to present the same set of questions, consistently seeking clarifications from VRBO:Why did the traveler inform me about the disagreement on the date change on July 20th, one week before check-in, and not on January 30th or around that time? Why did the traveler, after receiving the notification about the date change, pay the first installment to confirm their trip? Why did they subsequently pay the final balance on July 20th before deciding to cancel?  This ongoing lack of engagement has added to my frustration in an already challenging situation.

15% TIP? sneakily added

Very sneaky, added on a £15 tip to JustGiving (who are a profit making business not a charity). Went back to check and it is quietly added automatically on the last page. Won't be using them again! JustGiving if you think you deserve to be paid, be clear about it and let us make a informed choice.

Review of facebook

Facebook does not protect their users against malicious links

Facebook does not protect their users from scammers. I've already reported many links posts from users which try to redirect you to a website where they want to scam you and install malicious malware, etc. Each time you get a message saying that the post is in rule with their guidelines. If facebook does not take their responsibility I will soon block 🚫 facebook in my DNS-server.

Review of farfetch

Systemic issue with refunds at Farfetch Middle East

Dear sirs, I almost never write negative reviews — but this is now the second time I’ve had a deeply frustrating experience with Farfetch Middle East.I submitted a refund request, sent multiple messages via email and WhatsApp — and received no meaningful response. Out of 10–20 attempts, there was only one call, where I was told it was “not the right time” to process a refund due to company policy. I was told, “We’ll sort it out tomorrow.” That was a week ago, and nothing has happened since. The worst part? This exact same thing happened to me before. I had to push persistently for weeks to finally get my refund from Farfetch Middle East. It seems this isn’t a one-off issue — it’s a pattern. For a platform that claims to offer premium service, this level of customer care is far below expectations. I trusted Farfetch again, and now truly regret it.

Great support

Great support! Considering that I am halfway across the planet, I did not expect to receive such a quick reply when submitted my enquiry online. The support team was helpful and fast sorting out my issue in no time. The program itself is super easy to use and my go-to document converter / signature application.

Review of panasonic

Product not as advertised/Rude customer service

I recently ordered a Panasonic siren model KX-HNS105W as an add on to my Panasonic wireless security system. Based on their website this siren emits 110 decibels of sound but when I tested it with two different decibel meter its maximum sound is only 94db which isn't very loud for an alarm system siren. I'm writing this review out of frustration with their sales support, customer support, and technical support staff. I spent almost an hour on the phone trying to return this item and I was transferred four times to three different departments with no avail. I thought it will be a simple process of return since the product I ordered is not the same as advertised on their website but instead I was yield at and rudely interrupted while I'm still explaining my case by their sales support representative while she was trying to argue with me that if I return the item I will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Then she transferred me to technical support for the second time so we can return the item as a warranty and defective item. The technical support representative guy I spoke with twice that day wants me to send the product to Texas on my own expense so they can test the product and determine if it's defective. Panasonic must have the worse customer service I have ever encountered, I was shocked to be treated the way their customer support representatives did. Knowing Panasonic is a big company I expected more from their company. Clearly, customer satisfaction is not Panasonic's number 1 goal. Because of this bad experience with their customer support department I decided that I will return the Panasonic wireless security system I bought which costs $412 to B&H Photo which unlike Panasonic has an amazing customer support staff, I don't ever want to deal with Panasonic ever again. I will also file a complaint with consumer affairs and better business bureau regarding their return policy and false advertising on their website. I will also tell all my relatives, friends, and colleagues at work the bad experienced I had with Panasonic. The $50 cost of the siren I purchased that they won't take back is something I can earn back but the trust that I have lost with their company can never be earned again.

Review of nexusmods

I've been using Nexus mods for 5+ years…

I've been using Nexus mods for 5+ years now, and have never paid a dime. It is usable even though there's a low speed cap on downloads and there's plenty of mods to experiment with. That's about all the good this site has.Nexus is plagued with issues. First off, they've been gradually introducing restrictions for free users, the most obvious one being a countdown timer to wait for a download to start. It isnt too long, five seconds, but who is to say it wont increase as time goes on? They clearly want more people to pay for their premium plan, which is a problem considering my next point.Nexus Mods, as a website, is a mess. The UI is arguably not very intuitive to a new user *especially* if you dont google the page for a specific game. There's a litany of bugs as well, my own experiences include but are not limited to; - Having to reset my password every time I log in due to the website forgetting it which is cumbersome because the password *has* to be 12 characters long. Yes, I do have my password saved both in a text file on my phone and as autofill on my PC's browser. - Mods I know existing on the website not showing up when I search, having to resort to google to find them. - Due to Nexus changing the format of links, older links wont work if you find them, most commonly on a youtube video (even if the mod is still being updated). There should be an automatic redirect built into the website (but there isnt) because the mod page ID doesnt change, only the URL does. Its a simple fix that the Nexus staff are too incompetent to implement.Speaking of the staff team, they are corrupt and inept. While I dont engage with the community much, I have had conversations with some friends who enjoy modding Skyrim and who engage with the community. I've heard horror stories of Nexus admins abusing their power to silence criticism and generally anyone who speaks against them (which is why I'm choosing to remain anonymous) and favoring paid users when a free user has a run-in with a paid user, rather than listening to both sides and making a fair decision like an admin should.None of this is helped by the fact that Nexus has a near complete monopoly on PC mods in general, with competitors like ModDB not having even close to the same amount of mods or users. In conclusion, I think something has to change. Nexus is a cesspool of admin abuse and website-breaking bugs and has no incentive to fix these issues because it has such an iron grip on the whole PC modding scene. I myself will keep downloading from it, but I'll be doing my damnest to make sure Nexus doesnt earn a cent off me, which means I'll be using adblock and refusing to pay for service. If you as a player can do without mods, avoid Nexus like its Covid-19.If someone at Nexus reads this; Fix your website, or you'll eventually go down for good when something better takes your place.

Amazing team and very accommodating with small errors as well as large ones. Recommended for medium to large organizations, the time it takes to get noticed and score can hinder small businesses that a cas strapped and in my case building my SEO and peripherals to is already demanding! Small country small client base. Well done team.Clint Morris

Dugs Taxi Tadcaster

Lovely ride home with Mick the taxi driver from Dugs Taxis Tadcaster, Mick was waiting at my chosen destination 5 minutes before I was due, he phoned and introduced himself and called me by my name so I felt safe getting in the vehicle. Mick was very friendly. I live down a tiny track and Mick insisted on driving me to my door as it was dark and he wanted to make sure I made it into my house safely. I definitely recommend and will be booking with Digs Taxi service in the future
