Review of fiverr
I am rewriting this review to express the negative experience I encountered on Fiverr. My gigs were performing well, attracting a good number of customers and positive reviews. However, unexpectedly, my success score dropped to 4, resulting in a significant loss of engagement and a decline in orders. I am at a loss as to how to improve this situation, as the mechanics of the success score remain a mystery. I hope they will reconsider the success score or eliminate it altogether to retain talented sellers.

Review of chase
I recently received a message from Chase Bank online system stating they refused of my request to recover my lost funds from a scam. I am severely disappointed and saddened of the manner Chase chose to handle my case, and to so quickly dismiss it when there was no security or safety in place for me. I am again, dismayed that Chase doesn't have the decency to call and further discuss the details of my encounter, or even mail me a letter. To elaborate my case;On the morning of 03/25/2025 received a call from (228) 896-3000 (Harrison County Sheriff's Office) stating he was Lieutenant Bryan Owens with the Harrison County Sheriffs Department. He said a Jury Summons was mailed to me in January, and that since I failed to appear for my Jury Duty, two separate warrants had been issued to me for Failure to Appear and Contempt of Court for my arrest. Lieutenant Owens emailed me a copy of my arrest warrant, and instructed me that each offense carried a $5,500 cash fine. He gave me the option to remain on the telephone line with him and pay the fines that day with the understanding that was under a gag-order, and failure to comply, disconnect our line of communication, or mention this to anyone, would breach my gag-order, and result in additional fines and/or arrest. I complied with Lieutenant Owens orders, drove to my Chase Bank to withdraw the necessary $11,000.00 in fines, and made the requested deposits into an ATM account as instructed. Meanwhile, our telephone line disconnected, Lieutenant Ovens called me back and stated since I breached our line of communication, it carried another $5000.00 fine. I explained that I didn't have that amount of cash, and would not be able to attempt and withdraw any additional funds from my Bank until the next morning. He reminded me that I was still under a gag order, asked that I send him $1000.00 to his personal Cash-App digital wallet to avoid arrest as a holding deposit for the additional fine of breaching our line of communication, stay in a hotel for the night, and we would address the situation in the morning when I could return to my Banking Institution. I stayed the night in a local hotel, did not speak with anyone regarding this situation, while having Lieutenant Owens remaining on my phone line the entire night, telling me he had pinged my phone and it was being bugged by security and monitored for other calls and messages. First thing the following morning I returned to my bank, where I was later met by Corporal C. Judy with the Harrison County Sheriff's office, and my husband to learn that there was a missing person multi state BOLO out for me, and informed me that I was a victim of an elaborate scam. I have been a loyal customer of Chase Bank for over 50 years (since I was a teenager), and before Chase was "Bank One". I was obviously nervous, upset, shaking, and had been crying when I went into the Chase Banking establishment to withdraw these funds, yet neither teller nor security seemed to ask any questions or request a "safe word" from me.This entire experience has been very traumatic, and will take much time for me to recover. Given Chase's decision and lack of concern, I have decided to close my Chase account and take my banking to a different Banking Institution that has more empathy for their customers, their safety, and appreciates the loyal years of service given to them before so quickly judging.
Review of adroll
We are a medium sized apparel retail business with a significant presence online. We've decided to give AdRoll a chance after using another remarketing provider for several years.
We were very clear on what the goals should be and the expected ROI (we asked for an 8:1 return). Our AdRoll account reps said they understand our goals although they cannot guarantee a certain ROI. They said a more realistic ROI would be 3:1 or 4:1. We listened and accepted. Our AdRoll rep said "We are here to ensure we get the highest ROI" and also "I'm very confident that we will more than break-even with your campaigns".
We expressed our concern regarding the monitoring of our campaign and got the promise "you will two sets of eyes on your campaigns and account".
We expressed our concern about the use of view-throughs as an attribution method. Our rep said they will not use that if we don't like it.
After the initial phone call, we signed an insertion order and shortly after launched the remarketing campaign.
1 month later I log in to the dashboard to find that AdRoll did not care for anything I said about view-through conversions. We found that we had 342 total conversions of which 298 were view-throughs. I quickly paused the campaign and emailed our rep to find out where in the line of communication I was misunderstood and why. Needless to say, with the above figures we were at a significant loss, as each conversion that's not considered "view-through" cost us $150.
Our rep (actually 2 of them) listened to what I had to say, and promised to adjust the campaign so that we get a positive ROI instead of just a bunch of people who don't buy anything. I explained again that if we they lose our money then I really don't need a service for that. I know how to lose money on my own.
We resumed the campaign several days later, this time with no view-throughs. After 2 weeks I look at the data and I'm shocked. The campaign is performing poorly and no one seemed to care about it. Since the campaign was adjusted and resumed till the day I had to pause it, we were billed $2,594.03 and received $1,986.38 in revenue. This is not positive ROI by any mean and I'm not factoring in the cost of the goods and so many other expenses. In other words, AdRoll continue to waste or company's money causing us a loss of -$1,700 in a period of 2 weeks.
I was very unhappy about what I was seeing and decided to confront them. I scheduled a call with our reps' supervisor. Instead of stand by me and understanding where I was coming from, the supervisor had the nerve to accuse me of not monitoring the campaign on my own. He said I could have logged in at any time and turned it off if I was unhappy. I'm asking you, the reader of this review, do you think this is a fair practice? Where is the "two sets of eyes on your campaigns and account" that I was promised? Am I to pay AdRoll just to have to do their job? And where is the 3:1 or even 2:1 ROI that AdRoll is confident in getting me?
If you're debating whether or not to sign up with AdRoll, I'll leave it up to you to decide. This was my experience with them and it was quite horrific. I don't know if you will receive the same treatment that I did, or a different one. In any case, and based on my own experience I will recommend that you stay away from AdRoll and look for another provider, one who cares about its client.

Review of yelp
I am a small business owner. Yelp consistently removes legitimate 5 star reviews from my yelp profile. I will not subscribe to their paid services, and not sure that would change this behavior anyways. There is no reason every provided as to why these legitimate reviews are removed. Over the years I have come not to trust Yelp. From my experience it appears there is a lack honesty and integrity. I would change my opinion if they changed their behaviors.
Review of scribd
Scribd is like Netflix for books. I have been able to listen to so many. There have only been two or three that I have searched for and they didn’t have. Their algorithm for recommending books has been great, too. It allowed us to find a gem called Habits of the Household. I really like that is has both audio and written books. Lastly, I like that it recommends book summaries and podcasts related to the books and authors I search for.
Review of scribd
They canceled my subscription because they said I don't have a valid payement... but I payed with paypal from the beginnimg in 2018! Now it asks if I want to renew my subscription.. but the price is not the same as before! Ah, I forgot, if I send a mail to the support service it comes back saying the address is invalid! This is revolting.Going back to Amazon. You pay good money but you get honest and nice service!

Review of envato
Since I signed up for Envato, I find I am no longer using StoryBlocks which was always my go to. I do occasionally check StoryBlocks for content, but always wind up using assets from Envato. Fresh vibrant content, and a great audio section as well.

Review of accuweather
Probably the worst of all weather apps. Not probably, really. In my area (92057) they use the local muni airport for weather. Problem is that airport's weather data is all wrong. On top of that, it's always at least an hour old, sometimes older. I've notified Accuweather and they given the canned response "...we'll look into it..." but of course, they never do. Most frustrating is that my Honeywell thermostat uses their data so it's always wrong; my friends and family think it's defective; and my Google phone uses their data on the home page, and there's no way to turn it off. Wish there was a way to just disengage with Accuweather entirely so my devices weren't always displaying bad information.

Bunch an incompetent and rude people work over there!!!My automated payment didnt go thru couple times already even though i requested it every month on the 27th.I guess they decide how much they will take.I transffered amounts from other cards for a low apr for 15 months.I tried paying more automated for $200 and in person on the teller for $200.Somehow they decide how much i will pay.Instead of $200 automated it only takes $20.They tell me since I paid in person at the teller $180 i am allowed only $20 more dollars!!These people are insane rude over the phone swearing. Not much better at the bank itself. It is beyond belief that amateur bank like this can operate.I never had issue with pnc or byline bank.I paid more without problems but not these incompetent people there. They hire losers who laugh at you. When i mentioned 1 star and improvement needed they look at each other and smile!!!Cant wait to pay the balance off and never have anything to do with this bank.
