Eventbrite profiting off Covid

I find it despicable that when an event is cancelled due to Covid the organiser says "speak to Eventbrite they hold the money" and Eventbrite are basically uncontactable. They just send a no reply email saying "talk to the organiser" I would never book any event through this shonky company their couldn't care less approach is pathetic

Worst customer service I ever encountered. The dialect of the customer service is even hard to follow for a native English speaker.If you outsource your CS, do it to a country that has a light dialect and not Indian

Accidentally booked a room for 1 person…

Accidentally booked a room for 1 person instead of 2. I got no help from booking.com. All they said is you can’t add another person or if you cancel to rebook you have to pay 90% of the total. Absolutely disgusting behaviour!!!

Adiscam

I had contacted adidas after all the livery onit fell of the shirt. It is a genuine adidas and contacted adidas.Something told me they wanted to shirk from doing anything. Well they sponsort $10 a year to the All Blacks but told me that the shirt I had was in the wrong enviroment contributing to the letters falling off! I will never buy adidas ever again! I wont buy anthing from the All Blacks either as they are complict in this!

We arrived on time for our reservation at 7:15 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and were greeted by the owner, Mr. Francesco Catullo. We had a table in the back corner of the restaurant. First, my husband ordered a Martini drink from the bar, and then we ordered an appetizer. We placed the order for the main entree. We received good attention from the waiters since they knew us as customers. At 8:12, when dinners were being served, the owner approached our table aggressively, requesting that we leave because he needed the table. We asked if it was a mistake, and the owner said no. We paid our bill. We refused to take the boxed dinners that the waiter rushed to bring. When I started to put on my jacket, I discovered the reason: I was wearing a yellow ribbon 🎗️, a symbol of support for the hostages in the Middle East, and I was wearing a necklace with the Jewish symbol of LIFE. Antisemitism was the only reason.

91% negative Bewertungen. Nice.Teil1.Verstehe vieles nicht mehr, kein Plan wieso Herr Scholz nicht im Gefängnis sitzt. Wahrscheinlich weil er nicht der einzigste ist der da rein müsste, und eine Krähe pikt der anderen nicht die Augen aus. Ich glaube wir haben genug Geld um Flüchtige Menschen aufzunehmen. Natürlich finde ich das Kriminelle direkt abgeschoben werden müssten, ob das Herkunftsland sicher oder nicht sicher ist, es kann ja nicht sein das wir für Kriminelle (die nicht von hier Stammen, hier herrscht kein Fachkräftemangel) unsere Sicherheit aufgeben.Aber für die Politik sieht doch gut aus. So viele Leute sind eher sauer auf die Flüchtlinge/Einwanderer (die sind greifbar) anstatt auf unsere Politiker (abgeschirmt) die alles verbocken.Kommt mir so vor als würde es absichtlich etwas falsch verteilt (das Geld usw.) das lenkt ab.Könnte ewig schreiben, aber das lasse ich mal.Och ..... eins noch, würde gerne wissen wie viele von "den da oben" Aktien von Biontec hatten (und dann den Markt ankurpelten)? Oder bei anderen Pharmaunternehmen.....

Discriminating Against Republic Wireless Customers

I'm a long-time Republic Wireless customer. As such, by definition, my phone number is a mobile number. But not according to Venmo. After I sold an item to someone who wanted to pay by Venmo, I tried to open a Venmo account. But they rejected my application, saying my number was a "landline" number. I tried, repeatedly, to see what evidence I could offer so I could open an account, but they just kept falling back on the landline bit. I can only conclude that they'll let you open an account with SOME carriers' mobile numbers, but not mine.

A Piece of Cake

The application was a piece of cake to install and loading Windows 11 was easier than doing so on a native Intel platform. I don't see any obvious performance hit from the emulation, though that may be due in part to the M1 processor. Having used VMware Player in the past, this is a far better execution of the service. If I had a Chromebook, I'd be curious to test that installation just to see how that works.

What a mess!

Just to add another voice of dissent.Just checked online and the properties near us that we go to on a fairly regular basis (Dunham, Styal and Lyme) were all booked out for the times we could go (weekends only as we're both still working) yet again. That's now nearly 3 months of paid membership with no visits. Based on the number of cars we saw on the NT car park last week (very few), most people were parking in Styal village, thereby causing congestion in what is usually a quiet place. Local residents will also be getting fed up too. Why can't the NT at least open the car park?The NT need to comment on this shambles and let everybody know what they intend to do about it. The booking system is not fit for purpose. The NT should spend some of our membership money on a decent online booking platform. and give us a fair crack of the whip.

A complete scam, avoid. I paid for one piece of sheet music via the website with no mention of a subscription and then later they sent me an email with some very small print at the bottom and charged me for a subscription I did not sign up to.

Kroger customer keeps you on hold…

Kroger customer keeps you on hold upwards of 45 min and hangs up/drops the call the moment you get on the phone. No one can provide answers and they send you in circles. Your customer service sucks!!!!!! This customer service experience has been exponentially painful given no one can provide answers for my dispute -- Kroger and Ralph's is known to have gift cards yet their employees can't properly activate the gift cards sending you into a downward spiral where you never get answers or your money back.
