We visited Ickworth House and spent the day queuing. Half an hour in the queue to drive through the gate (it's always bad - why not put more than one person on the gate?), an hour in a not particularly long but very slow-moving queue to order a snack, and then over half an hour for it to arrive (which it did only after we complained). Demoralised staff were apologetic, but could only say "it's not us, it's the management" and "we hope you complain - it would do us all a favour"
