Review of uniqlo

own goal new policy-its all on you , we don't care

Having shopped in Uniqlo for years I usually order online for delivery to the store. All worked fine. Not anymore. Had £950 of goods, mostly coats, delivered to Westfield W12 London. Went to collect yesterday and was told ( no advice on the ordering site) that I couldn't collect unless I agreed to remove all that I didn't want and post them back myself. Coats! Massive package! So no advance warning when buying and no consideration of what I would have paid for what i would keep. Reading the current reviews I now wonder if I'll even get a proper refund. Way to go down the La Redoute route Uniqlo...though judging by these reviews it doesn't sound like anyone cares or is listening.

Review of ubisoft

A Non Collector's Edition

I bought the Collectors Edition for Frontiers of Pandora from Game which is Ubisoft's UK supplier. I was absolutely gutted when it arrived yesterday and was partially damaged. As part of the edition there is a coffee table style art book that has 2 pages glued together about halfway in. They are so welded down that there is no way of prising the pages apart without causing further damage. The book is not available for purchase anywhere else so it isnt like I can just buy the book elsewhere and enjoy the rest of it. In terms of collectability value, the damage therefore renders the Collectors Edition that I paid £200 for utterly worthless. As Ubisoft designed and developed the Collectors Edition we got in touch with them, not only explaining the problem but also providing pictures and proof of purchase. Our hope was that they might be able to send us a replacement book as we know that other game companies have done this for their gamers in similar circumstances. Unfortunately, Ubisoft is a company that doesn't give a damn about its gamers. They told us that we need to take it up with Game. This was damaged when it was made guys, have you not heard of quality control?! That was last night and we are still waiting for an acknowledgment from Game. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I ordered this 6 months ago and have looked forward to it for 6 months. It was a lot of money and like I might as well have set fire to my £200. I'm very angry and will not be buying anything else from Ubisoft, be it games, collectors editions or any other merchandise. If I don't get a resolution from Game, I'll be reporting both companies to trading standards. I never let a company rip me off more than once.

A great UK Newspaper

The Independent offers a comprehensive knowledge base for almost every sector within Business and Education.

I use the Newspaper website for my Studies, most especially the Sport Science area, where I gain knowledge on the UCAS Points system and the UK Universities polices on how may points are required.

I highly recommend this Newspaper VS any other online, highly regarding in the World of Finance and Sports.

Well donr the Independent - Keep up the Good Work.

Review of bitly

Great if using basic services. TERRIBLE support and bulk upload features

Product is decent. Massively let down by the EXTREMELY slow and incompetent first line customer care (despite being a paid member) each time you contact them expect a min 2 day reply. Bulk uploading of links doesn’t work if you are redirecting to the same link. Instead you have to add “UTMs” which is time consuming for each one. I have now moved to another provider where bulk uploading works and emails are responded to in a couple of hours max.Bitlys 2nd line support is far more responsive in the 2 times I had to reach out. Just to respond to each email takes 2-3 days minimum and up to 5 days!!Only good if you are doing ad hoc links here and there and using the free account- Only getting two stars for this reason otherwise 1.Avoid if paying and expecting support.

AVOID !!!

AVOID !!!My full-time student son unwittingly signed up for a subscription to read an article for some coursework. Never signed in again to his account, didn't check his bank accounts regularly, and we now see he's been charged 5 months of £26 subscription. Phoned to cancel, and the guy was just interested in trying to sell a cheaper subscription. Why do we want a cheaper one, when the account hasn't been used for 5 months? Stop wasting my time and my phone bill, and cancel the subscription!!

Customer Service is AWFUL!!!

I've been trying to set up my courses for 7 months now, and I've wasted $700. thus far. The customer service is AWFUL, you have to submit a ticket to get an answer and the last one I submitted took a full week to get a response. Now, I'm once again waiting to hear back. I already put in so much work trying to learn their program, and set up my school that it's hard to leave now. I wish I would have searched their reviews before I signed up! Please do your homework before you commit.

Review of envato

Your application is needed to solve urgent problems.

I really enjoy using your application. There is a lot of useful stuff there, but there are also a lot of old offers that are no longer relevant on modern equipment. So I have to take a lot of things I need, and then discard the outdated ones that no longer work. I understand that not everyone has new equipment and these offers are in demand, but this makes it difficult to find new ones. Your application really helps me out when I need to do a quick job and don’t have time to find my own solution. Thank you. And one more question. Can I sell my videos and graphics on your platform? Have a good day. Alexander.

Horrible company

Horrible company. Placed my order in November and it still hasn't shipped. Company will not allow you to cancel the order online even if it hasn't shipped. Their customer service 'chat' was a joke, no help there either.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Review of channel4

Update on viewing Channel 4 on-line

I wanted to view a programme which I had missed on Channel 4, but their viewer did not work as it repeatedly claims I have adblocker enabled, which was untrue. UPDATE: After contacting Channel 4 (who replied promptly although they need lots of info, like your operating system version), I found out that both Adblocker AND AntiBanner have to be turned off in your virus protection (as well as Adblocker on your internet search engine), or you can add the Channel 4 main web site to the exclusion list in both of these programs. The problem is now sorted, but pity there was not better information on their web page.

Review of bedbathandbeyond

Bed, Bath, and Beyond refuses to delete my information

Bed, Bath, and Beyond refuses to delete my information. I am beyond frustrated right now. I've been trying to delete my credit card on file as I do not want to make purchases anymore, and it is undoable. The instructions on how to do it won't work. Unchecking the box temporarily hides the information, but checking it brings it back. The agent I called confirmed this. The only way delete the old info is by making a purchase and adding in another card.I've tried to delete my account information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), but Bed, Bath, and Beyond refuses to do so for 4 years, saying I made a purchase, so they need the information for that long before they can delete my account. I've never had a company deny my request. The internal database would have this information. The public account should be able to be deleted. If anyone else encounters this problem, complain to the FTC.

Review of asana

Can't find a way to email or contact anyone for help

I've got what seems a fairly simple request - the only solution is - according to the Asana support portal to contact Asana support - but nowhere is there a contact email for Asana support - I keep getting routed back to the support portal. Just tried emailing sales as they do have a contact point. Bad user experience so far Asana

BEZOS FIDDLES WHILE DEMOCRACY BURNS

I just cancelled my subscrition. Democracy does indeed die in darkness. Jeff Bezos is now part of the death spiral we are currently witness to. Killing the Post's endorsement of Hartis to curry favor with a potential dictator for a few more dollars in his already bulging pockets from future government contrats for Blue Origin is one of the nails hammered in its coffin. Shame!
