No more "Buyers Protection"

No more "Buyers Protection" . The amount of details that buyers have to put in before opening a dispute and uploading evidence ( video files), waiting for 2- 3 weeks for paypal to reject it and they don't even bother to read any of details or watch the evidence . Their customer service is also appalling. Will definitely close my account with them. What a shame! Perhaps they deserve to go out of business.

Terrible returns policy

Uniqlo now charges £2.95 postage for returns from website purchases, even though their sizes are highly variable. They also do not accept returns in stores of purchases made online. In my case, the size information given on their website was wrong, but they still insisted on charging for returns postage for a problem that was THIER FAULT. If I wanted a replacement, it would be £3.95 postage ON TOP OF the £2.95 returns postage. The customer services woman I spoke to by phone was attentive, but was restricted by their outdated and terrible 'policy'.I say 'outdated', but it turns out this is a relatively new and deliberate policy, and a very retrograde step that seems to discourage online purchases in preference to in-store in a pandemic! No other store I'm aware of has such a blinkered and self-harming policy and the proportion of 1 star reviews on TrustPilot referencing their returns policy says it all.Avoid Uniqlo, it's not worth it.

Fabulous products

I have just tried the new toilet,sink and mop bombs in Spring Awakening and they were fab,love them.In a mop bucket the floor came up lovely and clean and left a lovely fresh smell for a long time in the room. In the toilet bowl the smell lasted for hours. My husband went in after 4 hours and said how nice the bathroom smelt. A first.I also got the car vent freshener in Fresh Linen and besides it’s a lovely pretty neat little clip,it gave a lovely light fragrance around the car.Both these products are wonderful and I definitely recommend them.

Hotels.com services is 0* star

Hotels.com services is 0* star. They advertise dodgy apartments. Booked an apartment and paid in full. When i arrived there is no host, called host there is no reply than after 2 hours host demands additional money for cleaning before giving me access to checkin. A scam in my books. Called hotels.com Gold membership they are useless and did nothing. Not worth booking anything with hotels.com anymore. I ended up paying for a different hotel for the same day from my own pocket when it should have been hotels.com who should have done that.

Terrible for Employers

Because Glassdoor have very lax community standards and say they're "not fact checkers", literally anyone can write a review about any company. This means that companies could write nice reviews about themselves, people can write horribly untrue things out of spite, and companies can write terrible reviews on their competitors page to make themselves look better. What's worse, is if a business attempts to disprove false accusations, Glassdoor can't do anything about it even if they cared to. Their policy is that employers will never be able to remove/alter reviews to suit their agenda. This I can appreciate on some level and I think the site itself is probably useful to job seekers, but there are zero safeguards in place for employers and I find that to be ridiculous.

Flawed System with Unhelpful Resolution System

I ordered two pairs of crocs and all was good.3 hours later had an email saying they had received my order and in this email it showed my billing address and delivery address which would have been great had the booking system not changed the delivery address to something that made no sense what so ever…my name had been changed to Facebook Facebook and my postcode didn’t match my address.None of this should have been a problem?…right?…a quick call or email should resolve?…correct?…..NOT A CHANCE!!!!The telephone numbers provided are non existent and contact via email can take up to 72hrs for a response….so WhatsApp was my choice of communication.So I set up a chat which is great if it didn’t take up to 4 hrs for a response….grrrrrr!!!.My message to them was in a nutshell “could you alter the delivery address”There response was “No”…apparently when it’s in the system nobody can alter it???.I asked if cancellation and reordering the best thing.“No”…apparently when it’s in the system nobody can alter it?What the heckThe goes on and on, round and round!I wrote a lengthy complaint and told them I would let them deal with the bank, who I called and was very pleased with there help…..it turns out the can alter things they just needed to contact VISA…..I told Crocs this in another lengthy email and said I wanted no further correspondence from them and they would be hearing from the bank.Woke to a WhatsApp message saying a refund had been issued but it could take 7-14days or possibly longer due to covid “blah blah”…absolute rubbish, but a refund is a refund right?….you would think so anyway…..three hours later I get an invoice with details and instructions of what to do next, and wait for my couriers information and tracking number…..ok, something has gotten lost in translation maybe?….especially as my name and address is still incorrect????This faceless incompetent company should never be trusted….a shame as the product itself is ok….not that I will ever find out because some lucky person called Facebook Facebook from a non existent address will have them.Steer clear of these robbing clowns!

Review of channel4

Don't bother!

I have been paying to stream boxsets for about two years now and all of a sudden, today, I am seeing annoying three minute advert breaks! I understand some classic American boxsets may have a couple of adverts in there and they were only adverts for other channel 4 programmes, now I am seeing actual cheesy adverts and it does not help with the repetitive adverts because of Christmas! I have cancelled my decided to cancel my subscription. Very disappointed!
