Auto renewal of product with huge price increase without notice! I did not turn on auto renew and they billed my Amex over £202 without giving me notice or option to cancel. Process to unsubscribe is deliberately difficult and confusing. Everyone should cancel their subscriptions and contact credit card companies for a refund if Academia.edu to not provide one.

How come every single 5 star review on here follows a 1 star review yet is still stating the same issue - that they accidentally bought a subscription when the only wanted a piece of sheet music. They wrote about the amazing customer service but completely ignore the fact that Musescore is conning them out of money. Looks a bit fishy to me - do Musescore pay someone to write these glowing 5* reviews, or is it their mates under a pseudonym?
