Very good database, rubbish marketplace

A pretty good database for audio recordings, but when it comes to trading records, it's actually worse than eBay of 20 years ago or more. This is because Discogs offer literally no buyer protection, considering any after sales or quality issues not theirs to deal with. "We are only in it for the money", if you get my drift. As a consequence, purchases are usually handled by PayPal, making things much more expensive than eBay these days. Therefore, if buyers have a problem or complaint with an order, there is no other option than to use PayPal to process it. Being a financial technology company, PayPal is naturally only interested in financial transactions, and not what brought them about in the first place. As the reason for complaint doesn't matter to PayPal, buyers get prompted to return orders at their own expense to wherever they came from on this planet, obviously via tracked delivery. Upon confirmed arrival, PayPal automatically refund the original sales price, and consider the issue resolved. Sellers are then naturally free to hold their chosen carrier liable for any damage that occurred in transit, buyers end up with a hole in their pocket. Venting frustrations by leaving negative feedback for underwhelming sellers doesn't help either, as the latter are free to leave revenge feedback in return, very much like eBay used to be once upon a time. To recap, if you are looking for details on all kinds of audio recordings, Discogs is probably the best platform around, and the sole reason why I left a 2 star feedback. When it comes to trading, it's a completely different story though, and you better ask yourself is this kind of Jurassic marketplace really what you want?

I have ordered countless vinyls and cds from discogs always got them before you order make sure to check sellers reviews if they are trusted litearly i have made over 50+ purchases from discogs and no complaints most of these 1stars are just blatant lies thank you!

Thrash

Thrash. Download something and half way through or so you have to pay or wait 5 hours. Plenty of other services where it may take longer (no 5 hour wait) but its free and you are not deceived.EDIT: To the company reply, the download was less than 3 GB. There should have been no issue as this is lower than the limit. Just a thrash service.

You platform stays upto date, and as soon as it picks up a change, it updates that clouds.Truly amazing.. I used to use the free option, until I had too much to store, now Im a paying user, and super happy.. Keep it up...

Absolutely TERRIBLE!! Worthy of a Lawsuit!

I’ve ordered multiple times from doordash and 6 times out of 10 I’ve had situations where my order was either delivered to the wrong address therefore I never received it or something was wrong with my order.. there have been WAY TOO MANY TIMES where I spent my hard earned money on a failed order and have been denied a refund by doordash!! Who are y’all to say I can’t receive a refund?? Because of “account history” and “previous requests of refunds”? In the words of their pathetic and heartless customer service.. so because of something outside of my control, that I have NOTHING TO DO WITH.. I should be losing out on money AND my order? I provide real proof that something went wrong EVERY TIME and doordash could have not one care in the world. This was my absolute last time using doordash and I WILL be suing! An absolute disgrace.

Wrong items and empty boxes (plural)

I don't appreciate getting the wrong items multiple times and empty boxes instead of my items. What's the point of free books if you're going to make so many mistakes that I get a random item instead of my selected item multiple times as well? I should have just kept using AbeBooks.com because they haven't messed up larger orders like you, piece meal and having to report on items a few at a time. I'm disappointed but not surprised. Do better.

Worst website and service ever

I bought a laptop from them which had hardware issues, i then tried to send it back but ran in to a list of preblems:The form on the website was broken so i couldn't use that (just got an error saying "something went wrong, try again")I send a email to customer service just to get a email back 3 days later saying they couldn't help me and i needed to call technical support.I called technical support and they were not available.it's now almost at the point i can't send it back anymore because i'm going over the 2 week limit because of their terrible and slow responses so i tried something else:i went to their website and tried the last way i supposedly could send back the laptop for which i needed to make a account but no matter what password i tried (randomly generated from password manager) it still said the password didn't meet the minimum requirements even though it definitely didover all this is the worst customer service i've EVER seen, unless you like talking to walls and not getting your money back when you run in to issues with their hardware which you probably will, don't ever buy something from this website
