Review of copper
Average CRM. Scam cancellation period. I cancelled my subscription on 25th August, planning on re-opening it when things got busier for us. They then took a $48 renewal fee on 18th September (25 days later) and refused to refund it. The company showed its true colours here - really bad ethics.

Review of surveymonkey
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME - USE GOOGLE FORMS.I had used the "Free" version of Survey Monkey in the past - about 4 years ago. At that time the free version limited surveys to 10 questions but you could email up to 40 recipients AND get data on who they were and how they answered. When I used it in February of 2023, I checked the plan descriptions and found:1. The form builder tool is very limited (after doing the form I had to redo it)2. You can no longer use their email tool (had to copy link to survey)3. Data on who answered and how was not available for the Free version. Okaaay...that sucks but I created a 10-question form and sent out to my clients manually. When I only got 9 responses, I sent a second email requesting those who hadn't filled it out to please do so. That is when Survey Monkey tells you you are limited to only 10 recipients under the Free plan. Clients were replying to my email saying the form doesn't work. It was embarrassing and a huge waste of time. With so many survey tools out there, I can't fathom the chutzpa of Survey Monkey ratcheting down the features so tight and charging a ridiculous amount to get full access to the tool. I hope they go under.

Review of costco
I signed up for AT&T through Costco in December, bringing my kids and parents onto my plan. My parents were trading in their iPhone 14s for new iPhone 16 Pros, while my kids and I got iPhone 15s without a trade-in. When the phones arrived, my father's iPhone 16 was defective and stuck on the "Hello" screen. After calling customer service and our sales rep, we were directed to an AT&T store, where they confirmed the phone was defective but refused to help since we went through Costco. After hours on the phone, we managed to activate a temporary phone for my dad. Despite countless calls and 10 hours of time spent, it took forever to get a replacement. AT&T promised a credit for the inconvenience, but by the second billing cycle, it was still missing. Two more calls totaling 1.5 hours went nowhere, and after waiting 45 minutes to speak to a supervisor, they disconnected me. Don't make the switch—Costco should ensure their partners offer better customer service. Their dedicated Costco members line is horrible. I love Costco but that is the last time I ever use one of their partners.

Review of vagaro
I have been trying to use Vagaro's payroll software since April 1st...after more than 50 emails and 20 phone calls, it still does not work. They only have one payroll specialist named Marco. He is apparently the only person in the company that can help with payroll matters. After over 20 emails to try and fix the problem he has stopped responding to my emails and will not set up a time to chat to figure out how to resolve the problem. My employees have had to borrow money from their parents to make rent because I have been unable to pay them through Vagaro. It has been one of the most frustrating and embarrassing experiences I've had as a business owner. I would strongly recommend going with a different company.
Review of uniqlo
Really sad to see what's happened to a company I used to love. Uniqlo now seem intent to make the online shopping experience as aggravating as possible. No more free returns, online orders cannot be refunded at stores, exchange only. Great idea from a company that constantly changes the fits and dimensions of their clothing.

Review of seagate
I had a Samsung hard-drive that was made by Seagate which had an error meaning I could not access anything. I shipped it to them and they sent me back a new hard-drive with all documents and photos having managed to retrieve them from the faulty hard-drive. Excellent service.

Review of dreamhost
I have been a customer for over 14 years. It was the first hosting service I used, and I’ve stuck with it since I started working in web development. The best thing about DreamHost is its stability. Downtime or micro-outages happen very rarely, and when they do, they are resolved quickly. I believe they still provide good service, but over the years, they have fallen behind compared to the features and services other hosting providers offer at the same price. There are many basic and essential features that almost every hosting provider includes, but for some reason, DreamHost does not. For example: email forwarding, an easy way to download large folders, a fully functional file manager that doesn’t crash or freeze for no reason, fast file transfer speeds, malware and spam detection, site cleanup, etc. Their VPS packages offer, in my opinion, very little RAM and storage, which doesn’t align with modern internet requirements. Other hosting providers offer three times the RAM and storage for the same price. The VPS performance is decent, but it’s actually slower than shared hosting on other providers. File transfers via FTP or the File Manager are, in my experience, very slow. I also don’t have any data centers nearby since they only have them in the U.S. The VPS management panel is really simple and user-friendly, allowing easy and clear management of servers and websites. Lately, I’ve experienced several security issues on WordPress sites and a significant increase in spam on email accounts. While they do offer spam filters and security features, they don’t seem to be very effective. Last time the support didn't help me pretty much with this, I finally solved cleaning the websites in other hosting company and then taking back to Dreamhost.Customer support is decent—they are friendly, attentive, and generally knowledgeable—but it used to be much better. Now, they seem to have less patience and interest in helping. They often make you feel like the problem is on your end and not the server’s. You have to explain and clarify issues multiple times because they don’t pay close attention to details when reading your messages. In summary, it is a very good hosting provider, but it needs to modernize and better adapt to the current needs of customers and the internet.
