Unexpected additional costs

I’m partial sighted, pensioner on my own & can only see at 8” in front of my right eye, nothing from left eye so extremely restricted. Unable to see reg no.’s my supposed pick up point right outside Moorfields Eye Hospital reception in London to meet didn’t materialise. A member of public did kindly and eventually find taxi further up the City Road (A105) but I later found I was charged extra (with no agreement) for keeping driver waiting! and unanticipated central London charges that they know about! So much for fixed prices. Be warned. More worrying is reading reviews where drivers just leave without picking up clients and fee pocketed by online payment.

Avoid. Impossible to cancel

I would give zero stars if I could. Will only let you cancel subscription over the phone and when you call they say their phone lines are so full that you can't even join a queue and hang up on you. How utterly ridiculous in this day and age.

Review of mastercard

I took out a Mastercard Cash Passport…

I took out a Mastercard Cash Passport (multicurrency) during the pandemic MCP took random amounts each month-usually around 2.50Euro for non-use of the card? MCP must know that there's a global pandemic and people can't travel abroad, but still take fees -IMMORAL. When I needed a new card as the previous one had expired 05/21 had to open a new account which cost me £53 sterling in order to access over US$100 and over %00 Euros!! 6 different phone calls and no progress. Find another card provider is my advice -these are useless, bordering on criminal.

Absolute terrible app

Absolute terrible app, long ads and constant buffering/choppy playback. It's not my device because I have no issues on any other streaming app.

Blocked for no reason / Incoherent system

The Contact and Support systems are inefficient and incoherent, they did not solve our issue and did not even explain what it was in the first place. They blocked our account with for no reason, and no previous warning. We sent two campaigns and after the free trial, we were going to hire the system, however, they didn't even give us the chance. The Support team only told us we somehow broke the Terms & Conditions, but they did not have the reason, and told us to leave the platform. We had several damage since we do not know the conditions of our campaigns and our clients can not contact with us.

Review of capitalone

CAPITAL ONE - BAD CREDIT CARD COMPANY

Bad service and bad application as far as putting and holding on to unwanted and intrusive programs used to make a 'expected' recurring charge without my permission. I called and spoke with a minium of 6 fake rep - two from account representatives, customer service to fraud - two people being the same individuals and none wanted to or could address this issue of getting this fraudulently repeat posting removed since the credit card provider is preventing me from blocking the posting via the app. This fool in Greenville MS solicited these people trying to find a way to make money lying like she is part of some dumb company that documents processes when in fact this crooked nut is stealing people's payment postings in an attempt to get customers like me to be seen buying money orders or paying with cash because they'll lie and say they didn't get it. This mess came from the Mayor's office. He is stealing from his customers because this broke city like Jackson MS is floating cash payments taken from the teacher education fund and the police pension funds - he even took from the office staff's payroll pension plan for people employed back in the 80's. This stupid credit card company illegally sold my data to those crooks at that dumb made up processor and they refuse to remove that illegally added City of Greenville recurring fake 'expected charge'. This isn't even a real bank. It is a credit card processor and a credit lending institution that hindered Walmart from getting their receivables in on time from the old rewards card that they applied to customers. I am glad they got rid of these crooks. These idiots had the gall to try to offer me another card when they are already screwing up. No one is going to get other services from a failing credit card company like Capital One since they know it is stealing from them by immediately forcing interest charges but won't accept direct electronic payments from a bank to bank (B2B) electronic transfer in a timely manner - they got sued by Walmart and the FTC. These fools set up in the winter of 2020 using apps to access customers' accounts and clicked on save information or remember as setup access keys, and I reported that mess to their made up headquarters and to the other banks involved fraud departments, which is why these idiots got blocked by both Walmart and by Bank of America who shared it among the banking and financial world to include USAA. They signed in under my ID like they let a dumb relative do trying to gain access to my TrustMark deposits and withdrawals - that's why the fired that crazy old bat name Harris down in Flowood, MS and that crook in Wisconsin tried her dumb attempts through Capital One and Bank of America using an old letter her daughter had when I paid her auto loans for three months @ a total of $1000 back in 2017 - that fool thought I was going to be stupid enough to send her a check. She kept calling and I told her it takes time that's when I knew for sure that money grubbing broke fool was after cash for herself. Capital One has been behind this fraudulently setup mess and allowed that drunken prostitute and her family to do this stupid mess using a relative at the City of Greenville's Water Dept. They need to shutdown these fake processors and use the real company not these made up sites trying to find a way to make a payroll payment to keep that crook employed. That app got modified and that junk they put in the system is not helpful - it is theft of people's personal spending and private information. I filed a complaint against these idiots for computer fraud and illegal use of their access to a government program (the security system) to spy on and then misuse the information gained from that system. Who are these crooks, those dumb security teams, police officers, GAOs above 10s in Veteran Administration sponsored locations like clinics, hospitals, service centers and local government offices to include Capital HQs and some large cities; but these dumb idiots down south tried to establish this mess using teachers, police retirees, student nurses, student doctor's, firefighters that aren't even qualified or trained due to their veteran status and later in 2022 they get put back into office and these crooks then start using newly hired people from those same groups and their relatives and since some of these folks are not children of a known veteran these idiots fake hire them and let these idiots break the law lying like I am on some made up list for those crooks to mess with as part of their fake neighborhood business to include that dumb COPS (trying to drive up illegal hours and mileage) mess setup by the State of MS, etal and that includes this mess using their rewards pmt card then trying to lie like my house or my name is business location thinking his crazy plan would work - THAT'S FRAUD!

Review of artsy

Filing a Police Report

The company is AWFUL. If the art didn't sell itself they'd be out of business in a week's time. My first experience with Artsy began last November where we approached Artsy hoping to have our work listed. We sell artwork on consignment for various estates in the area and ultimately we were told we were not a fit due to the ambiguous provenance of some of the work. Fine, no problem, completely understandable. Fast forward to May of this year and Artsy reaches out to us! Not one but two of their sales agents reached out saying they saw our website and would love to have us on the platform. I thoroughly explained that we've been through this all before but I was assured the first person I worked with didn't do their due diligence in trying to get us approved, I even was asked to submit three pieces with varying levels of provenance to see if we would be a fit and were told by an Artsy employee that all were perfect fits and she eagerly signed us up for the $900 a month package, a major selling point of which was having an account executive who could help us out at a moments notice, better yet she was a specialist in the secondary market! Enter another Artsy employee. I immediately get an email from her saying she's going on vacation for a week but that she's looking forward to scheduling a call to get us started when she returns. Two weeks go by with no word so I send her an email asking to schedule the meeting and she lets me know she's been out sick. Ok, fine, but that needs to be communicated when we're over here burning $225 a week and don't have any idea how to use the platform effectively. We finally get on a zoom call with her and get a good plan of action going, however progressing with that plan hinged on us sending another Artsy employee a list of our artists, and she would recommend which artists to start with. My archivist sent her that list before the day was out, and another week goes by with no response. I ask my archivist to follow up with her, he does, and still no word for over a week. We've completely wasted our first $900 at this point. I had one piece listed for sale as a practice run, well we got a great offer on it! I accepted the offer but the customer needed to contact her card company to let the charge through which she does and lets me know to re-run it. When I go to do so the piece has been delisted, so I post it again, and it gets taken down. I get an email from the Artsy support team saying that due to the ambiguous provenance they can't allow the sale to go through. ***Major false advertisement from Artsy employee*** So I email them stating there was false advertisement on their part and that we should be refunded. We have a zoom meeting with the associate director of second market dealers. The meeting was cordial enough and Artsy agreed the best path forward was to close our account and refund our money. One of the people in the meeting was tasked with reaching out to us with details of the refund. If Artsy is one thing, they are consistent. Consistently lying about reaching out. That meeting was Monday June 6th, and as of Tuesday June 28th not only has NO ONE from Artsy reached out about ANYTHING, but we've also been billed a total of $2700. We're filing a police report if we don't have concrete evidence of the refund coming our way by the end of the week. You've really pissed off the retired, and quite litigious owner of the company. He just told me if he has to fly across the country from his summer home to file the report he'll also be filing a lawsuit.

Review of 1password

Top Notch Technical Support from the good guys at 1Password!!!!

I had an excellent experience with Zaid and Kevin on the phone, as they helped me fix the issues that kept 1Password from working.During this extremely helpful call, Zaid and Kevin showed me how to add the 1Password extension in my Chrome browser, modify the desktop app shortcuts properly so I could invoke the auto fill at will, and deauthorize afew devices with a different location.By the time they were done, the app worked perfectly, and was also fully accessible with my screen reading software, which helps those with visual impairments navigate web and desktop applications in the Windows environment. And not only that, they sent me a wonderful and comprehensive list of their best and most helpful support articles if I ever run into additional issues. I will always keep that email forever, as it is chock full of the kind of information needed to keep the app in tip-top shape and running smoothly.Without these guys giving me a hand, I would have been out of luck since I couldn't figure out for the life of me what I had done to make the application inoperable. Needles to say, they straightened me out quickly and efficiently, and within a short time period I was up and running with no problem whatsoever. Thanks fellas; superb job!!!!!Don

Suddenly permanently suspended

As what had happened to many users, my twitter is permanently suspended without any reason. I do not hear any feedback after the appeal. What I have done on my account during the past few months is to browse the content that I am interested. What a joke? They said they took that action after carefully review. While the twitter allows so many fake account to flood and cheat the users.I would rather to give 0 rate if that is possible.
