I would not give any stars but you have not give at least 1to write a review. Facebook should be banned they allow people to show animal cruelty it is disgusting. How are we supposed to try to get people to realise animal cruelty is wrong when these barbarians allow it on their website.

Review of booking
Booked a hotel in Japan through booking which cancelled the booking at last minute. Had to spend more on a different hotel, booking were very poor on helping. Also check prices direct, most recent I have used booking and then found its 50% cheaper if I booked direct. Brought it up with booking who never responded. Poor service indeed

Review of academia
Academia took unauthorized payment for the "renewal" of a Premium membership that I cancelled in July 2024. Even after I sent customer service the cancellation e-mails and documentation that both my accounts are "basic" and not Premium (one is old and has been inactive for years), they refuse to refund the $249 and insist that I must perform certain actions to "access my benefits", benefits I never ordered and do not want. I have never met such attitudes at any customer service in my life.Update December 28th: I contacted my bank, they contacted VISA on my behalf. I informed Academia about this and my intention to report them to the Cyber-Crime authority. The next day the $249 was transferred to my account. I have now deleted my accounts with Academia.edu
Review of domestika
Just got charged $270 by Domestika without any clear reminder. No email, no heads-up — just a vague note buried in small print a month ago. Turns out I’m not alone: tons of people have complained about the same shady tactic here on TrustPilot and at the BBB.Yes, it’s technically in their Terms, but this kind of “gotcha” renewal feels downright sneaky, dirty business. If you're signing up for a 99-cent class, set your own reminder — because Domestika won’t, and they'll take your $270.I requested a refund. They said nope and pointed me to their Terms. So now I’m filing a dispute.
Review of deepl
The translation oof transgender from English to Dutch is wrong. In Dutch we also say 'transgender', but DeepL translates this to 'transeksueel' (transsexual). This word is wrong, it is wrong because it is outdated. (I do my master thesis about transgender people, so I read allot about sensitive language about the trangender community)PS. make contact with experts on certain topics to get feedback about the language in the experts field, because most researchers who's first language isn't English, can speak en write English very wel (The majority of researchers in Belgium and The Netherlands speak fluently English)

Review of zillow
Contacted Zillow about listing my home for sale on their website, I am the only owner on the title/Deed and own the home. After uploading the information and photos, was told to wait at least 72 hours before the listing would post, IF there were any issues the zillow service dept would contact me, after more than five days I contacted the customer service team and more than 48 hours have not heard a peep. My email and contact number were on all correspondence. Absolutely criminal what these massive companies get away with, I am more than happy to hear from someone from this company.

Everything was abysmal except for Father Christmas who was an utter delight. 5 stars for Santa at Biddulph Grange, top fellow and a thoroughly wonderful experience for children and grown-ups alike entirely down to him. He had a pleasant London twinge to his accent, an impeccable manner with children and lived up to all expectations. Please do pass on most hearty praise to the great man.Zero stars for the unpleasant female working at the entrance (trying to charge £3 extra for a leaflet for a reindeer hunt in the grounds which came at no extra cost last year and which was very easy to do without any stinking leaflet, no thanks to the employee), zero stars for the elf lady who was going up to people in Santa's waiting room and spoiling the fun for the children by indirectly broadcasting that visits to Santa were all paid for (after we had of course paid in full for our slot in advance and so was therefore a moot point)- really vile capitalistic mind-games nonsense and we felt sorry for Santa to be burdened by such an elf. It wasn't so long ago that it was unheard of in the UK for shops/establishments to charge for children to visit Father Christmas, even throughout the 1980s-1990s where his grottos were utterly elaborate and yes, they gave away toys for free back then, something to do with the Christmas spirit and goodwill. Your establishment has very little of this and has really lost its way in embracing a hyper-capitalistic approach to almost everything. Camels and eyes of needles spring to mind! Father Christmas, thankfully has not lost his way and he is entirely exempt from my negative comments on the other elements of the visit and your disturbing modus operandi. Thanks Santa for making it a memorable Christmas! Whatever you do, please don't go trying to replace Santa in the future with some sort of sinister and vile freak-show as I know the current NT management are very much capable of doing!
Review of lyft
I am a driver for Lyft. They make you refer people to drive with the incentive of making more than $700 for referring people to drive if they do 180 rides in Honolulu and the person who you refer is supposed to make at least half that amount $400 as an incentive for being a new driver but they lie. I sent my referral link by text through the app and Lyft gipped us. The person I referred completed the task in less than 30 days and even did more than 180 drives and they claim I did not send my referral link and we have proof that we did but they did not give us our referral pay. Whatever you do, don't drive for them, they are liars.

I've been regular at HBX, first as a cash shopper in Hong Kong and then when I moved to London on mail order. Things can go right. In HK all was good. But... if anything goes wrong as it did with my Ambush denim jacket there is almost no customer service. They bury contact details inside the site. When you find them, there are also no free returns so pay $$$ to send back and then wait many weeks/days, with excuses delivered about refunds. This is a company moving in the opposite direction to most online retail and its service has simply got worse. Buy thinking you cannot send back. If that doesn't matter then do it. If you like the safety of returns then don't.
