We've been using WordFence Premium to protect our clients' WP installs for several years now. The plugin does a great job of keeping the bad guys at bay, and the WordFence Customer Support staff are helpful and prompt. Thanks guys! :-)
Review of Shopify
Shopify is COMPLETELY worthless. It is coded so horribly that it doesn't meet basic requirements for Google Search Console and basic structure. What a complete nightmare and expense. One patch fixes one problem while creating 7 more. What a horrible platform. Build a WordPress site for better ranking and lower cost.

This service went downhill over the years. We now use ahrefs entirely. They also have pretty vicious pricing where they charge your card for the year without notifying you (their emails go right to your spam probably because of their reputation).

Don't buy from Xiaomi(UK). They failed to deliver a phone, gave me incorrect tracking no for their courier ( twice), incorrect phone no too. They have admitted that the phone is with their courier in France but want me to report it lost to the Metropolitan Police, want my ID and want a signed statement from me to say that I have not received.They wont accept a photocopy of my UK DL which has the same name and delivery address . Their customer services people send happy clappy messages from a script . They will not refund my money or pass on my complaint to someone senior.They claim to be Xiaomi( UK) but are registered in France. Their customer service for the UK may be based anywhere but the UK.They are not only breaking UK consumer law but any notion of a competent service.I suspect their team are not empowered to do anything but read or send trite lines from a script but are being " rogue" in not refering my complaint to more senior responsible people.Avoid. Their phones are good but buy from a phone co such as Three.If they lie in response to this, I will publish all correspondence.
Review of hotels
I booked a hotel in Cardiff for the start of July next year. Unfortunately the dates have turned out to clash with the Oasis tour dates. I received an email this morning tell me that I had requested to cancel my booking (I hadn't) and my refund will arrive in 8-10 days. I looked back on the site and surprise surprise the hotel had increased the price from £549 for two nights to over £3500...... So I talked to hotels.com who insisted I that had cancelled and no matter how many times I told them I had't they told me I had. Anyway to cut a long story short they finally admitted (after an investigation) that the hotel had canceled due to 'over booking' and that I would get a refund in 8-10 days. So I not only don't have a hotel, I don't have my money and hotels.com accused me of lying as well as failing to take any responsibly (I know they are the third party but they still have responsibly). Absolutely shocking.

Channel 4 left Freesat HD in a huff in March 2018 claiming it was being asked to pay higher fees than it should for EPG. Pulled the plug on its app on that. Whilst you can force your Freesat box into non Freesat mode to watch C4 HD you cant record the programme. Who watches linear TV now ?.Android TV is one of the new standards but they refuse to release the All4 app for that. Sideloading the app they have it rigged so it fails with 10 minutes on non downloaded material. They fob off anybody who contacts them with reqard to this. You can cast from a mobile phone but not ideal.Due to there relationship with Freeview they have entered into supporting a proprietary version of Android TV using Freeview software components. E.g. a non standard spec that is being marketed internationally. Normal nonsense of playing with software products rather than providing a viewing service to the public. They now have a joint state in Freesat since the owners of Freeview and Freesat are pooled. Somehow suspect they won't put 4HD back on Freesat and won't support Android TV. Fine I don't watch the broadcasts same as other people who they have actioned a disservice on. Pity since C4 News at 7 is one of the best.
