Everyday, the BBC runs an LGBT story on its website or on the local news. Just today, there is a story about the Manchester gay village on the BBC bitesize website. Why this saturation? I have never paid for a TV licence (I use my parents) but I would never pay for one in the future because BBC content is stale (keeps running the same themes) and it is politically bias.

Poor customer service and returns process

Bought an Amazon reuse item (Apple watch) which is essentially a refurbished item which is supposed to meet quality standards set out by Amazon.So I received the item and once I inspected it, it become apparent that the item was not the excellent rated item, but a barely acceptable item.I call customer service to mention I have dissatisfied, but the person on the other end could not care less. They just told me to do a return and then wait for a refund. I was not happy with that so I was offered a quicker solution to get my money back which was Amazon would send a next day collection. The item was collected on 23rd May 2025 and then delivered to a centre (FC) on the 28th May 2025 after spending 2 days waiting at an unknown location for collection.So I message Amazon to find out why they did not have my item marked as returned. The long and short of it is they dont know where it is. And the person who I spoke to kept saying in a scripted way, thanks for you understanding you need to wait till the 6th June before the system might offer a refund and then another 7 days for it to be processed.So for me I am out of pocket to the tune of £129.99 due to Amazon’s poor processes and lack of quality checks.I don’t know about anyone else, but Amazon has really gone downhill over the last year or so. Push items out, but when it comes to customer service this has been massively affected.From the best, now one of the worst. Sad to see but seems like profit has taken a lead instead of keeping the customer happy. Gonna really start thinking about future purchases and looking at other online shops as I think I have become too reliant.

Can't believe they have spent so much money on a super computer as it is no better they can't forcast the weather beyond 6 hours accurately. Then they are on about spending another 1.6 billion on another super computer. For God sake give up on the weather and use the money to build some much needed hospital.

I have been a loyal adobe user for decades and their customer service has taken a sharp downturn. I wanted to modify my existing subscriptions and instead they cancelled my services leaving my company without access to their adobe subscriptions. It has been a few days without service and without knowing it their customer service has violated their service agreement with me, costing my business lost time and money.

Deceptive Booking Practices & Zero Accountability – Avoid Agoda!

I had a terrible experience with Agoda, and I strongly advise against using their platform. I booked a hotel (Haadrin Resort, March 9-10, 2025) through the Agoda app at 11:00 PM, only to arrive and find that the hotel reception had closed at 9:00 PM, making check-in impossible.This crucial information was not clearly displayed during the booking process. If Agoda had properly informed me, I would never have booked a hotel I couldn’t even enter! Instead, I was left stranded in the middle of the night, forced to find last-minute accommodation, which cost me extra money and caused significant stress.When I contacted Agoda for a full refund, they refused to take responsibility, even though the issue was entirely their fault. They offered only a small AgodaCash credit, which is useless to me, as I will never trust their service again. Their customer support is dismissive, hiding behind fine-print policies instead of taking accountability for their misleading booking system.Agoda's lack of transparency and responsibility makes them a high-risk platform for travelers. If you value reliable service, clear information, and fair customer support, STAY AWAY from Agoda!

Extremely poor customer service

If I could give zero I would.I have tried to contact Agoda as a booking was made through booking. Com that handed to a partner Agoda. Our accomodation was under renovation and the proprietor said she would support a refund but we had to chase it through booking.com who in turn wouldn’t help as they gave to Agoda.Numerous emails and nil response from Agoda. The use of AI on their help page is useless as it doesn’t read your concern as it doesn’t fit the algorithm. I did get a response with a phone number which was in USA with no toll free or Australian contact number. Be very careful booking with booking. Com or Agoda. I won’t again.

Yesterday I would have given AAA No stars from speaking to manager last night at AAA Washington. Was dropped at a mobile gas station in Idaho And manager told me 1 Tow per break down 12 mile tow and I have rv plus. Frustrated. Next morning a called back and manager was just the opposite. Absolutely the best customer service. She went above and beyond her call of duty to get me home. Between her and the towing company, Ever green towing in Spokane they got me down town my home town and parked me at a place can fix my motor home. Unlike the manager night prior who I'm sure strictly stuck to the fine print we never see at purchasing. AAA. Needs to understand that under circumstances . Bending the rules to get your membership customer where they need to be to have proper service makes a happy satisfied customer. As I am today. Last night I was never going to purchase AAA Again, but thanks to your day manager of Washington AAA. You save a member to your company. A happy customer and impeccable customer service. Take note AAA. 2 MANAGERS 1 HORIBLE EXPERIENCE THE 2ND MADE UP FOR THE 1ST. THANK YOU FOR THE SERVICE WE PAY FOR AND MORE!

No Spotify refund

So I have a subscription to Spotify and it renewed on 29 January. It charged my account so I called five minutes after they charge my account to cancel the subscription the month hasn’t even started yet and I canceled it the same day they charged me and they wouldn’t give me a refund be very, very careful of Spotify never seen a company that wouldn’t give you a refund on the same day that they charged you if I was you I would go to Pandora at least you can get a refund there never knew a place that doesn’t give refunds then they tell me there’s a 14 day period. When you open your account to get a refund I open my account two years ago way past the 14 day mark it’s like stealing.

The company outright ignores anyone who tries to cancel during the first month and charges you the annual amount. Never sign up for the company since they'll also overcharge you because you previously "agreed" to join in their scam.Also be careful if their "auto renew" button as it'll reset to keep you on if your not paying attention.Tip for consumers:Find another website that isn't these scammersProducts used:I used the free month to save one picture and in the end was changed $350 because they ignored my request to NOT join their plan and to cancel my account

You will believe it and since the message is coming from Binance you have more surety.Binance claims that we dnt give phone numbers to call or we don't call anyone only chat. If they know that they are under spoofing attack , they can broadcast this alert through their app as messages . They bother to send hundreds of message on promotions and coins claims and crypto purchase but not a vulnerability at their side. To reach to Binance customer care even on chat is next to impossible. You have to raise a dispute like scam or illegal transfer then you can have a chat with them.When you get a message from binance text header, that your account is logged in from some east European country, you will panic and hardly any option to check the legitimacy. Like the chat where you can check this. Or a short cut for the security cheks. Most of their help and support are bots which loops with the same question If you happen to find a chat with the customer care executive which I did after around 5-6 hrs of search, they will forward many link where you can check all these information. But in actual practical face, you won't find those neither in the app or in Google. ...Better stay out. Why they have to make their support team so hidden where you can't find. There is a support button on the home page, which will take you to Bots.Saddest part is Binance is least bothered with the spoofing since they dnt loose anything . Only the user is loosing . Even for the withdrawal by the fraudster, they are getting commission.Even if you are scammed and managed to find a customer care chat. They will keep you hooked in the chat for 2hrs till they extract all info from you for their record and then last statement is standard " this is a decentralised platform and we can't do much on this. "If you are scammed or spoofed. Just digest the fact that you lost and cry. Binance won't help you
