I’m referring to the meeting with the crown prince Reza Pahlavi, for future of Iran on 27th Feb. 2023, which I got ticket for few days earlier , but on the date when we entered the meeting room after a few minutes before the start of the meeting we were told that because have not received an email from Henry Jackson society we can not stay for the meeting. I was shocked and very disappointed. That was very unprofessional and deliberate insult to everyone like me. I will never buy an other ticket from Eventbrite or the Henry Jackson .

No more negative reviews

I just want to say that all these negative reviews towards the lego group are completly uncalled for. The lego company is fantastic and shouldn't be blamed for one person leaking a lego staff discount code on hukd. I really hope noone gets there's prices honoured because why should they. The lego company are completly in there rights to cancel the orders, misuse of a promotion code. I hope people have a real think before they leave anymore negative reviews, every experience I've ever had with the lego company has been fantastic.

Review of venmo

Does it Surprise anyone that Venmo is owned by PayPal?!

A friend sent me money via Venmo in December 2022. I had no idea my account had been successfully set up because when I tried to use them two years prior it didn't appear that my account had been successfully setup. Looking back at my emails I see that Venmo had emailed me once to let me know that the money had been sent. The money is now gone as is my account. I was literally successful in creating an account on top of the ashes of the old one that still should have been there. Venmo claims that they sent me three emails letting me know that the money was there and that if I didn't claim it it would be handed over to the state. I conducted a search for all Venmo emails. I had received a quarterly email in January last year and in July they sent me an email that I had closed my account! They blatantly lied to me about sending anything further about the money he had sent. When I asked them to forward the supposed emails they sent me they kept ignoring that request and kept saying I needed to reach out to the state to recover the lost funds. DO NOT USE THEM! They are criminals and they are owned by PayPal which makes them one of the worst ways you can send or receive money. ZELLE all the way, baby!

Misleading Sale of Obsolete Products and Refusal to Provide Refund

I purchased two UAD FireWire Satellites from Thomann in April 2024 (Order #202414.819293), only to find out eight months later that Universal Audio has discontinued support for these devices, making them incompatible with future software updates. This renders the hardware effectively obsolete, as software is essential for its proper use.Initially, Thomann confirmed a refund, but then reversed their decision after consulting Universal Audio. They argued that the devices remain functional with older software versions, completely disregarding the fact that the lack of updates prevents the product from meeting reasonable customer expectations for a recently purchased piece of professional equipment.Furthermore, Universal Audio informed me in writing that these devices had been out of production for years. They shifted responsibility to Thomann, as it was Thomann who sold the Satellites without clearly labeling them as “clearance stock” or discontinued products. This is a blatant act of deception, as customers were not informed of the true nature of the product.I requested that my case be escalated to a responsible manager at Thomann, but the company refused to provide a refund. Instead, they offered a bundle of plugins that does nothing to address the issue of missing software support or the breach of contract.Thomann, as the seller, is responsible for the products they sell, and in this case, they failed to meet even the basic standards of transparency and accountability to their customers. I am deeply disappointed with how this situation has been handled, and unless resolved promptly, I am seriously considering legal action.I do not recommend purchasing high-value items from Thomann unless you can guarantee that they will take responsibility if issues like this arise. Clearly, they do not.

Cengage was a pleasure to deal with. To begin with, Cengage Unlimited is a student's dream. They make textbooks and electronic platforms reasonable by offering one price for as many books that you need that Cengage publishes. Next, when my class was cancelled, they made it easy to get a refund and return my print book. Reaching out to customer service was easy. I am in my 50s so that said I did have some challenges in navigating the site, but nothing insurmountable!

We pay a subscription for online deliveries, which is totally acceptable...why then do we purchase items for them to be sent by bloody Evri!! I understand you have other sellers but why should we pay when half your stock is not even sent by you and then lost .. delayed..returned..repeatedly by the likes of Evri*ones nightmare service ....why can you not remove them?

Don't book with VRBO!!

The accommodation we booked turned out to be fake. The accommodation simply did not exist. This left us sitting on the curb for hours and contacting VRBO via chat who still did not even bother to contact me by phone. Despite VRBO refunding me the payment to rent the accommodation, this scam still cost me 400 Euro. We were allowed to re-book and they would refund any extra amount we had to pay, but only for bookings on their websites. I was forced to book through another platform because VRBO's websites do not allow booking on the same night. So to meet their conditions, I just had to sleep on the street the 1st night, which was not an option for me. Since I had made a booking with booking.com (I had no choice), VRBO does not want to refund me the extra money i had paid. Other expenses incurred, due to the scam through their website, such as phone and gasoline for the car, they reimbursed at 100 Euro, barely 90 Euro after exchange rate.All in all, because of my booking with VRBO I lost 300 Euros. Not to mention the mental setback that this experience gave on our vacation I cannot understand how it is still possible these days that booking platforms can have fake ads. This proves that VRBO does not screen their advertisements What is done at booking.com, AirBNB and others.
